- poserdonut - 2009-10-25 21:29 Please keep us updated if this works because then I would have something motivating me to uninstall my drivers and do the PPA thing instead. - frozenice - 2009-10-25 23:11 so... i tested one TV Episode (45min Runtime) with AC3 Sound => No Problem And watching some DVB Stuff (Stereo) (~1hour) => No Problem Today my Asrock run's without any Audio Bug/Lag/Cut ![]() I hope the Nvidia Update was the solution for this Problem. - Ben8472 - 2009-10-26 00:15 watched another movie that gave me sound cuts previously nvidia 190 from ppa and now i have peace! if you are unsure, these lines of code should do the trick! paste them in to your terminal line after line, first part is if you don't have ppa set up if you allready have the nvidia ppa in your sources.list SKIP this part! part 1: get the nvidia ppa sources Code: sudo sunow do a Code: sudo apt-get updatePart 2: getting nvidia 190 from ppa installed & reboot Code: sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic nvidia-glx-190 -y- poserdonut - 2009-10-26 08:00 Cool! Will do this when I get home from work today. - Ben8472 - 2009-10-26 11:27 please let us know if it worked for you edit: just watching another movie, the bug is back! (streamed over samba) sound cuts ![]() i wonder why ... - poserdonut - 2009-10-26 23:30 I forgot to do this today, and since you still get the bug I guess it's not the solution.
- Ben8472 - 2009-10-27 00:18 i don't know why, yesterday it worked, today it stopped working i am sure that i didn't miss the sound cuts yesterday, i tested 2 movies today, both with annoying sound cuts, dts worse than dd in my opinion. i'm kind of really frustrated here, i will see to try another AMP, on my old one i never noticed these drops, maybe it has a better error correction on dropped frames? i will also see and try to get another computer to try it on. btw, here is the error log Code: 23:01:25 T:2919222160 M:1244168192 DEBUG: CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuty - was:2664656278,594114, should be:2793792301,772207, error:129136023,178093- Ben8472 - 2009-10-27 01:45 @frozenice: no problems for you anymore? one thing we seem to have in common is the zotac ion board - frozenice - 2009-10-27 09:28 yesterday i can't test any movie. My last test was on sunday and there where no cuts at my Asrock 330. I try to test some more stuff today. |
