have you download the version 12 (the title of the download page is not good)?
You can watch with an mysql editor if the database is correct?

well, that version is there now, it wasn't yesterday

I'm trying to use XBNE to update the ratings for my previouosly scraped movies and it doesn't update the rating, number of votes or the IMDB Top 250 ranking. Is that portion of the scraper broken?

Hi there all,
I am totally new to XBMC, so I am reading threads related to what I am looking for.
I had a root folder with all my movies in it. While searching for more tips, I read that each movie should be within it's own folder. Also, that media managers would allow me to store the fanart, main photo, and nfo files in their respective folders.
This would help to populate the database in case of a failure, and make for a faster browsing. I am not sure it this is "really" worth it as I believe that having a database backup should suffice?
Also, if I have a few movies that I have my own fan-art, modify through XBNE, but the file (.jpg) is on my local PC, (not the HTPC with XBMC) will XBMC always look for the original path for the .jpg or the fanart will be stored in the database?
Sorry for the newbie questions. Just trying to decide which path to follow before I continue to modify some of my media files.

In the options, it is necessary to put "imdb.com" or another address in the "ImDb Site" field. In the main window, right click on the note used to retrieve the rating on IMDB. In "Edit Multiple Items" there are tab IMDB that can also do this on several films at once.
It's better to put each movie in own folder.

It was already set to imdb.com in the settings. I've tried clicking on the magnifying glass button next to rating and when I click on find on IMDB, it says "rating not found". It says this for every movie I try. I've checked and the ones I tried do have ratings on IMDB. I could be wrong, but it looks like IMDB changed their site. Specifically where rating, votes and the Top 250 are on the page. I'm guessing that portion of your IMDB scraper is broken.

Thank you for your reply. I currently have my movies on their own folder.
What I am trying to accomplish is to have a XBMC or media manager to store the Thumbnail (folder.jog), FanArt, and NFO file in the same folder for each movie.
Is this even possible with XBNE or would I need to use another media manager?
I guess I know understand why this would be a much faster way to keep everything up.
After I spent hours manually fixing media titles, adding fanart, etc. I had to update my library after moving each movie into their own folder.
Looks like XBMC scrapped again and overwrote everything I did. :'(
Since I will eventually move these folders to a NAS later on, I don't want to re-do everything again. Any tips/suggestions?

For the moment, you can just store image in one folder : Change path cache in option, and "path, cache, other" button. (but this will be replacing the update images directly from XBMC)
Download last version, and this exe : V12.1 to put in XBNE folder. With this version, you can also change the nfo folder for all movie.
But, the name of fanart & thumbs is in XBMC cache format. I add one option in the next version for format the name of fanarts/thumbs in cache path, next week...

when trying to update rating/votes from main view I get ID not found even though the data set contains a correct imdb id and "see on imdb" works perfektly alright.
