Movie library and two-cd-movies? - junk - 2009-10-19 Hi, I did some searching but couldn't find this question asked before (which seems strange as it must be a common problem?). I have a movie split in two CDs. The first CD gets scanned correctly into the XBMC movie library, but the second is shown as a duplicate named "Cdd" (probably the closest match to CD2). Can XBMC handle two-cd-movies somehow? Thanks in advance! - tyche - 2009-10-19 XBMC handles 2 CD movies just fine. What are the files named? movie.cd1.avi movie.cd1.avi or movie-CD1.avi movie-CD2.avi Should work. Check if you have stacking turned on. It should be default on for library use. - sho - 2009-10-19 http://www.xbmc.org/wiki/?title=Videos#Stacking_in_XBMC - junk - 2009-10-19 They are in subfolders and RARed, for example: E:\Movies\Some.Movie\CD1\moviecd1.r00 E:\Movies\Some.Movie\CD1\moviecd1.r01 E:\Movies\Some.Movie\CD2\moviecd2.r00 E:\Movies\Some.Movie\CD2\moviecd2.r01 Perhaps the problem is the RAR archives? Thanks for helping out! - Maxim - 2009-10-19 The two parts have to be in the same directory. - junk - 2009-10-19 When extracted and placed in the same folder it works, thanks for the help. I guess this "issue" isn't really worth fixing, two-cd-movies is probably something belonging to the past anyway =) |
