It says to click play/pause to restart ATV - anamika - 2009-11-08 Chipskip Wrote:Got an email from apple today saying that if I was using 3.0 to please upgrade to 3.0.1: I didn't have a chance to test the Patchstick with 3.0. My ATV immediately updated itself to 3.0.1. I was able to repatch after that and install Launcher 3.2b2 and install the latest XBMC & Boxee. However, when I try to launch either of them, I get an error and have to click Play/Pause to restart - mrjekill - 2009-11-08 I'm also getting the same error. Click Play/Pause to restart. Any idea how to fix it? - Bazil.atfx - 2009-11-08 Same here; I did not notice I was on 3.0.1 till after the error.. - Merlion - 2009-11-08 My install is working fine. I downloaded Boxee before XBMC not sure if this makes any difference. Problems as well - larryim - 2009-11-08 I am also getting the error message after installing Launcher 3.2 beta and the apple tv 3.0.1 update. What next? - Chipskip - 2009-11-08 larryim Wrote:I am also getting the error message after installing Launcher 3.2 beta and the apple tv 3.0.1 update. What next? We wait for the dev-team to sober up from the weekend and hook us all up. For the future I suggest disabling auto updates. - davilla - 2009-11-08 Chipskip Wrote:We wait for the dev-team to sober up from the weekend and hook us all up. Disabling auto updates is the very first thing I do - anamika - 2009-11-08 davilla Wrote:Disabling auto updates is the very first thing I do Yeah! I know. But in this case, the ATV 3.0.1 update happened before I could patch and disable the update for 3.0 - lynbury - 2009-11-08 hi there, forum neewbie here (although technically savvy) Have reviewed the instructions in a much earlier post and decided that I'm going to leave this until a full pukka version is released that requires a little less user savvy. Where's the best place / link to get an update when this will be available? - jimcarroll - 2009-11-08 Before 3.0.1 on Friday, I had tried this: - did a factory restore - upgraded to 3.0 -- installed Patchstick to get ssh -- ssh, and grabbed and ran Launcher-3-2.1-debug.run with no errors -- restarted ATV. No launcher menu Note: I used ATV patchstick and unchecked the "XBMC option" on, presuming that Launcher above the menu would let me install it. But the Launcher menu doesn't show up. Any thoughts? - MaestroDD - 2009-11-08 *bump* beta 3 is available, should be compatible with ATV r3.01 - maxroncali - 2009-11-08 Hi all! Autoupdater striked my atv too... and this is my report: - I've restored to 1.0 fimware - Re-upgraded to 3.0.1 - Patched with the 2.4 stick version. - Installed the launcher (beta 2) - Got the error messages. - I've installed also the beta 3 version: got same error message!! Damned autoupdater! - MaestroDD - 2009-11-08 maxroncali Wrote:Hi all! huh? which "same error message"? console.log crashreporter.log? - maxroncali - 2009-11-08 MaestroDD Wrote:huh? which "same error message"? The atv error message reported also by anamika, mrjekill, Bazilatfx, larryim: "Click play/pause to restart". :-( |
