whua I haven't followed recent development but what I am reading now is fantastic!

you want some suggestions? It seems the WMM already has most if not all Manager features.
Perhaps a secure area wich allows me to easily listen to my music when not at home Wink not really a feature a Manager is suppose to have but the Music part is already great so would be nice if I could listen to some songs.

slash Wrote:Thanks for the feedback,

I can add this in the next release but just to make sure :

- "Set" is the "movies set" ? if yes it's already planned for the next release
- Could you clarify "sortname" ? I can't find it.
Thanks

- Yes, set is the movie sets. Great that it is already on your schedule...
- Sorry, I mixed this one up, it is called "sorttitle". I use this to keep the original title displayed, but have the movie / tv-show sorted on a different place (e.g. Title="Dr. House", but sorttitle="House")

Sorttitle allows you to sort movies from a movieset on whatever criteria you want.

Not only in a moveset, I use it also for "normal" movies (e.g. You can have a title "The XXX" and a sort title "XXX, The") and the tv-shows...

Hey Slash. I'm trying to get this work on my home computer so I can load it from work.
I got the port forwarding set up properly so when I put in the http://208.x.x.x:88/XWMM/index.html I am asked to sign in. I do so but then get (in IE6 Page Cannot Be Found, in FF3.66 File Not Found)

What should I do?
I copied the contents of the XWMM zip folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\web and when that didn't work I thought maybe I need to copy everything inside the XWMM folder, including the XWMM folder itself into the \web folder. Still no dice.

I am running Win7 Ultimate 64bit and xbmc-r31951-Dharma.exe

You know of anything I can do?

The planned features seem amazing Slash - only thing you didn't mention is the ability to edit more fields for music - specifically to add a review. Will this be possible?

Other than that I just have a few Qs about some of the plans:

slash Wrote:Hi kiboy6,

Here is a list of the features planned in the nexts weeks :

- Cover and fanart support for TV-Shows and music
- image upload for movies, TV-Shows and music

Sounds great - do you plan to let users browse for local file AND/or input URL?
Quote:- visual rating (R, PG-13...) for movies
Will we be able to add ratings for movies that are missing them?

Quote:Any other short term features suggestions ?

This probably isn't short term or any term (!) but would it ever be possible to open XWMM when XBMC isn't running. That would be super cool, but I imagine it's probably an inherent impossibility.

Thanks Slash! Big Grin

I've setup XWMM and it works flawlessly, just curious if there is a way to manually add new movies? I have small homemade movies that I want to add into the "Movies" list on xbmc but since there is no info on the web about them XBMC just skips adding them into the DB.

that a good point. I will add it to the feature list along with delete manually.

Thanks candor

Thanks kiboy6 for your ongoing support :-)

Yes all the fields in music should become read/write in the very short term.

Absolutly. Ideally users should be able to choose: upload from local desktop, URL download, or select from within the xbmc source folders

Yes

Not in the short term, but with mysql abstraction there are some possibilities if the machine hosting XBMC is up ;-)

Thanks

Hi,

Could you do the following :

- Just unzip XWMM.zip in /web folder
- Try accessing XWMM from inside your home network
- Try removing any authentication from the XBMC interface
- Try accessing http://ip:port you should have the default XBMC web interface

Let me know

Awesome thanks a bunch, going back and forth between the file listing and the movie mode while it works, is just tedious Confused

I vote this should get included with all xbmc releases Big Grin

Hey Slash,
Same result. Page cannot be displayed.
I have in XBMC > SYSTEM > NETWORK> Allow Control of XBMC via HTTP port 80 user XBMC blank password.
No dice Sad

Try port 8080.

Still File Not Found in FireFox

- Galefury - 2010-07-23

Joecooper84, the adress should be http://yourIP:8080/XWMM/index.html and XBMC should be active (running), otherwise won't work.
