Hmm, very interesting. I don't have an iPad but there must be an emulator.

Thanks for the comment.

Note: found this site : http://ipadpeek.com/ to emulate ipad browser. Can you tell me if you have the behavior in your iPad ?

It's not quite the same. Sort of. though. The UI gets cut off a little bit so you can't see the whole thing (the ipad's res is 1024 x 768 I believe), and on my browser, I don't get an actual scrollbar to let me sift through my movies at all. Other than that, the functionality is pretty much there.

Hi, this is a long thread, so I just wanted to ask a question...

With the lastest stable, or the lastest SVN, could you have it scan ALL movies, updating only the rating, votes, and top250 number? And then besides writing it to the db, also write it to the local .nfos?

I just wanted to send my gratitude an awesome utility. Thank you!!!!

slash, thanks for a great utility Smile

Question: Is there any way to make the main window bigger?

I have a 27" iMac with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and XWMM only uses like 1/4 of the space in the browser window.

PS. I'm using the latest Safari 5 on Mac.

Thanks
Martin

Hello!

GREAT-GREAT plugin!
Could I ask for some features?
I've no idea if someone has still asked them, if there are implemented (and I've not found it) or if there is a right place where to ask.

- possibility to search cover and fanart choosing different scraper or by using a search box:
This why I've titles in my language (italian) and searching for covers or fanart works only if the movie title is in english. It's not a big problem if it search only in english, but in that case I need to be able insert the title manually only for searching covers, leaving the italian title untouched. Another way is to choose different scraper for covers/fanart.

- possibility to force "scan for new content" of single movie:
Sometimes I write the wrong title. I correct it and then I re-download informations for the single movie from inside XBMC. This is not supported from this web itnerface. Only the "scan for new content" is available and doesn't find nothing new. Maybe it dosn't correcly use the movieplayer.it scraper even if shown?

thank's a lot!

Simon

Awesome thanks alot for your hard work. Any chance you could move the project to a git repo for easier updating from SVN?

I just got back from vacation. I will check all the comments and suggestions.

Ooh, good timing Slash, I'm just coming back to this but have forgotten my username and password for the web interface, although I do have access to the installation files in my web/XWMM folder. How can I reset my password?! Smile

XWMM does not manage authentication it uses the XBMC web server settings.

You probably should change it in the XBMC interface directly.

I have it in my to-do list (sorry about the delay).Blush

I'm also working to have XWMM as an add-on. it will be easier to install and update.

slash, XWMM continues to get better & has become a corner stone for managing my library.
A+ for effort Laugh thank you !!!

Candor Wrote:just curious if there is a way to manually add new movies? I have small homemade movies that I want to add into the "Movies" list on xbmc but since there is no info on the web about them XBMC just skips adding them into the DB.

Candor, XWMM can't help you with this, (it is for editing what is *already* in your library).
that said, i am doing something similar with my home-movies
( but im adding them as "episodes" to a "tv show" )

you simply need to make an NFO file
so XBMC knows how to add your stuff to the library (without look for it on the web)
check out this wiki article.
