Neither are working for me. All my movies are in the movie list but have no information.

The address i use in the browser is http://192.168.0.10/movies/index.html. I know the ip address differs from person to person, but is this the address i should be trying to navigate to?

Shouldn't it be http:// ip address.portnumber/xwmm/index.html

I get a 'file not found' notice in the browser.

I tried setting it up with a username and password and it seems to be working for me now

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but i have the film 'Once'. It has been wrongly recognized as a different film and its data tables have been populated with incorrect information. Is there any way that i can link this movie to the correct "themoviedb" entry?

I would just remove it from XBMC library, and perhaps put the year the movie was released as part of the movie name, then rescan, perhaps that might help, But I am no expert Shocked but it has worked for me

Also perhaps something to note is that this program might have issue with Internet explorer 8 , I was trying to set it up for my brother and we was having issue till we changed to Google Chrome, And I think others have had issue as well

Thanks. Do i put that in the same folder as the movie then?

Also, where can i download specific .nfo's?

- jpf55 - 2011-09-26

yes but make sure that the nfo has the exact same filename as the movie

Another way would have been to do a manual refresh for that movie and changing the name a little until you find the right one.

Can you explain how to do a manual refresh for a specific movie? I can't find any option like that?

- jpf55 - 2011-09-26

Get movie information from the contextual menu,
Image
inside that screen
Image
,the screen WILL be different depending on the skin you chose. There is a refresh button, click and xbmc will attempt to locate the movie info, if it finds more than one, it will display a list, at the bottom of that list, there is a Manual button, clicking that will allow you to modify the name and try to find a better match.

That's great. Thanks for your help.

I don't mean to be taking advantage of your knowledge, but could you help me with another problem i'm having. I've got two season of the Office (UK). This includes a folder full of extras - bloopers, deleted scenes etc. The two seasons of files add to my tv shows library with no problem, but not the extras. I have manually added these files to the library. They then end up in the movies section. From here i use the "link to tv show" option. The files then show up in the Office (UK) folder in my TV shows section but they remain in the the Movies section too.

- jpf55 - 2011-09-26

I just checked thetvdb and there are a few specials in season2 under DVDorder but no bloopers etc.

The way you did it is the way have done it in the past, what happens if you delete the Library entry in the movies section(careful not to delete the actual files), or alternatively, what happens if you marked them as Watched in same section.

If i delete them from the the Movies section they also disappear from the TV shows section. I have my library set up so that all files, watched or not, are visible. I don't really want it to hide watched files, it's just not the way i want my library to be.

If you change the file name in any way then just do a rescan and it will pick it up, Thinking it's a new addition, it might leave the old cover, but you will just have to remove from library
