Inspired by Ellipsis I call it Showcase Split View.

if you run "List Info" view for tv shows it will display the current running video in a small windows above the list info while browsing in tv shows.

although on my asrock views like this are sloooooow so i can't really use it but it looks slick!

just start a movie or tv show playing then without stopping the film go back to the list info view or some of the other views and you will see it
