Not Scraping Trailers (Redux) - pseudoheld - 2009-11-09 01:05

Hi,
I am using the most recent Alpha of XBMC and the newest Redux Skin mod.
Somehow when i now add new movies, the scraper doesnt pick up the trailers.
I am using tmdb as the scraper and yeah ive checked, on the tmdb site there is a link to the trailer of the films that aint pickung up trailers (RocknRolla for example)
is there some option in the new alpha or in redux where i have to activate trailer scraping?
Thx a lot guys!

the tmdb trailers aren't useable for us - they link to some random web page that happen to include a embedded flash object. we need real url's to media files. you can enable trailers from dtrailer.com in scraper settings.

ok i will try and enable dtrailers.
the last time i checked you now have to add youtube links to trailers on tmdb. still flash but at least not some random page Wink

Hey,
i also have a question concerning trailers....
i just downloaded a trailer for the film 300 and named it 300-trailer.m4v
so now when i hit refresh in the 300 info-pane, there now is the trailer button, but when i hit it, nothing starts playing... the trailer itself can be played with vlc and with quicktime (so the trailer itself is ok)
anybody got an idea what could be a possible reason for that?
btw. i use the latest alpha of XBMC the latest MediaStream Redux Skin and am running on OSX 10.6.2 on a MacMini

Thanks for help Smile
