- Scott R - 2010-01-26 Scott R Wrote:OK, it looks like I spoke too soon. I'm still having playback issues with my 2nd Revo. The good (?) news was that I was able to recreate them on my 1st Revo, so I'm hoping that someone out there may have a solution. OK, so just to clarify what my issues are: When playing standard-def DVD .ISO files (DSPlayer not involved), or when playing high-def files (via DSPlayer), I get non-smooth playback. I'm suspecting judder.Quick follow-up. I reinstalled MPC-HC on the Revo that's hooked up to the 720p projector. With my desktop resolution set as 1280x720 @ 60Hz, both standard-def DVD .ISO's and high-def files play smoothly. At 24Hz, it's not quite as smooth. So this is really bizarre. If I'm able to use 1920x1080 @ 24Hz, I can use DSPlayer smoothly. But if my display isn't capable of that specific resolution/refresh rate then I have to use MPC-HC. Tiben, any ideas? Tomorrow I'll try installing CoreCodec 2.0 and see if that makes any difference. - tiben20 - 2010-01-26 Scott R Wrote:Quick follow-up. There some solution i tryed and everytime i was facing some unknown c++ error that i dont know how to fix. - oldpainless - 2010-01-26 tiben20 Wrote:your problem just be fixed in svn i fixed it 4 hours ago Hi Tiben, Sounds great...sorry if this is a dumb question...but where do i get that build? Cheers K - Tk0n - 2010-01-26 hi, first of all, thanks for your fantastic effort making us able to use dxva with xbmc. but i have a little sound problem. ive got an ati graphics card and use the hdmi do submit the sound to my tv and then to my receiver. i use ac3filter and it works as it should when playing a file in mpc-hc. ive followed the instructions for using ac3filter in xbmc, that hades_2100 posted, but in xbmc i only get the sound from the 2 front speakers. no Center and no rear. i can see that ac3filter is used, because the icon is still there after i quit xbmc, but somehow its used different than in mpc-hc. regards, tk0n - oldpainless - 2010-01-26 Tk0n Wrote:hi,Dont know if this will help you..but, worked for me. Uninstall any other main codecs you have that did not come with XBMC (ac3 filter, MPC-HC etc)...reboot....now install Combined Community Codec Pack....install and configure....play a movie with the mpc that comes with codec pack...make sure everything works the way you want it to....start xbmc and use dsplayer.............. solved my issues. link here http://www.cccp-project.net/download.php?type=cccp K Edit: just for clarity.....of course the xml should be returned to it's default values...so I'd advise to take a copy of your current xml, so that you can return to the state you have now, just in case it does not work for you. - X-QRDR-B - 2010-01-26 Athlon 4850e Win7 x64 Geforce 8200 With EVR disabled in the dsplayer options I get around 20-30% cpu utilization and supposedly 24-28 fps (MPC video decoder) playing a 1080p h264, but the playback is very choppy, looks like less than 10 fps. With EVR enabled video is a lot smoother (I'd say 15-20 fps), but the sound is choppy and cpu between 40 and 80%. MPC standalone works perfectly. Thanks for your efforts. Apart from the lack of DXVA XBMC is the perfect media center for me. - tiben20 - 2010-01-26 Tk0n Wrote:hi,unfortunatly i tryed to add the possibility to configure ac3filter from an external interface. http://ac3filter.net/forum/index.php?topic=852.0 But i got an idea that might work for making it easy to configure a filter which is used in the current filter graph. The concept is really simple, here it is. Many filters have what we call the ipropertypage, example for the ac3filter when you right click the systeme tray icone and click settings, you see a 3 panel settings window appearing. This is the propertypage for this filter. I think its possible to add this window within xbmc from a few click from the xbmc osd. Since xbmc would call the property page, the page would be shown without leaving the fullscreen. Ill try that possibility as soon as i get some time to code it. - blinkseb - 2010-01-26 New svn update, so here the link : http://dsplayer.passion-xbmc.org/XBMCSetup-Rev27183-dx.exe Don't forget to provide the log file when you report a bug ! - >>X<< - 2010-01-26 tiben20 Wrote:unfortunatly i tryed to add the possibility to configure ac3filter from an external interface. That's funny I was just going to ask if that would be possible as the original ac3filter use to add a shortcut to windows programs menu which called the propertypage Do you mean it would function similar to most directshow players that show all codecs/filters being used on right click which allow you to call the propertypage - oldpainless - 2010-01-26 new build....27183-dx..... error - ERROR: exception in CApplication::FrameMove() log here http://pastebin.com/d3060b9c2 Exited XBMC, tried again. got the ERROR: CVMR9AllocatorPresenter::InitializeDevice AllocateSurfaceHelper returned:0x8876086c again. log here http://pastebin.com/d44ff9b14 Cheers K - Tk0n - 2010-01-26 tiben20 Wrote:unfortunatly i tryed to add the possibility to configure ac3filter from an external interface. mmh, i should be able to check the propertypage while playing a file in xbmc by minimizing xbmc. ill try that. thanks for your help and information, tiben20. - blinkseb - 2010-01-26 oldpainless Wrote:new build....27183-dx..... How would I go about configuring DSPlayer so that it utilizes the CoreAVC codec? |
