Hi guys. After a long day of work, here a new build : http://dsplayer.passion-xbmc.org/XBMCSetup-Rev27307-dx.exe

Change log:
- Multiple audio streams should now be fully fonctionnal (thanks to nathanjones for giving me a sample file!)
- XBMC shouldn't be crashing anymore when playback stops (I hope so). Si you have a crash, please link the debug log !

The patch is located here : http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/7342

Thanks Seb, much appreciated.

OK, so, I can hear sound on the primary FLAC track of an MKV (h264 in this case). And I couldn't get that before. But I still get wonky video when I change tracks. (basically goes black/green and strobe-y...if that makes any sense).

It seems to only happen with h264 MKV's with FLAC as the primary track. I have VC-1's with FLAC as the primary track that work fine. Very strange!

Here are some logs for you to peruse:
Wonky Video 1 after track change:
http://pastebin.com/d60125ad0
Wonky Video 2 after track change:
http://pastebin.com/d29aca8f8
This one changes tracks fine but it's VC-1:

Very strange! With the sample file you gave me, i have no problems at all! Can you try with ffdshow instead of mpcvideodec?
Moreover, the log file are ... perfect! No error at all!

Love these builds, they have solved major issues for me.

The only small problem is when I hit the "i" key for information during playback there is "0.0" where the video information would normally be. It's only a small issue so don't worry if this can't be solved.

Great! 27307 this has solved my lack of audio from mp4 so I think this becomes my new build Smile

Very minor point, but it still doesn't remember changes made to audio settings, eg default audio track / delay etc. Be nice to have the feature back at some point but probably not very high on the priority list Smile

Thanks again!
Chris

not sure what happened, 1st time i tried it played 720p mp4 nicely with audio!
after adding all movies and tv show to library i tried again and everything locked up as soon as i pressed play had to exit via task manager

log for mp4 with dsplayer

http://pastebin.com/m658889c3

then i tried to play a avi using dvdplayer and it locked up while trying to play and again had to exit using task manager

log for avi using dvdplayer

http://pastebin.com/m725dcf6

then i tried playing a avi using dsplayer and it worked with sound but when i tried to exit it locked up

log for avi using dsplayer

Nevermind, updated to the latest drivers from ATI and switching tracks doesn't break the video anymore. Should have tried that earlier, but since I had just re-installed Vista...didn't think it would have been a problem. Grrrr. Smile

I think I might even switch to this as my default XBMC installation now assuming everything else works OK. Smile

Build 27290 on MS Win 7 x86, all OK. MKV, M2TS, WMV all playing via DSPlayer DXVA enabled.
Hardware: AsRock330HT (ATOM 1.6GHz / ION GPU)

Can not get other SKINS or PLUGINS to work tho with this build, help anyone?

- jsnkid - 2010-01-31

(IM using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit now)
Mine still crashes when playing a .m2ts... Also now when trying to use vmr9 and ffdshow for 1080p mkv it crashes. If not using vmr9 it does not utilize dxva.

Here is a log:http://pastebin.com/m22f41ec8

I believe i have tried every combination of filter, renderer and file format and am getting really mixed results... might there be a better filter than ffdshow?

- jsnkid - 2010-01-31

Another note, it seems now that the majority of the time i lose total keyboard control in xbmc and the only way to do anything is to quit and restart it.....

And my best results so far comes from simply playing a 720p mkv using DSPlayer without dxva, using EVR and MPC codec...... CPU around 50-60%

Hi, I have same hardware but Win 7 x64. How did you setup audio output? All my movies are mute Sad (They play fine with DVDPlayer)

Newest build is working great (including .m2ts files) for me. Thanks Sep and Tiben.
