Hi,

I´m having problem to play rar files.

Xbmc just stalls with "Working..."

XBMCSetup-Rev27519-dx.exe

Thanks for that but the installer fails Big Grin

I've managed to compile my own just need to find the right one now lol

also high cpu here with latest version and ffdshow dxva. Disabled "Allow Programs On This System To Control XBMC" But still 60% on 720p or low res avi file, when it was 15% on earlier builds. 65-80% on 1080p with HD audio compared to 35-40 % earlier. Cant remember the number, but the build when enabling subtitles in ffdshow dxva started working.

Has anyone running Win XP 32bit had success using the latest build?

Think your find tiben20 is working on subs first before he fixes XP

Yeah, but reading the same thing over and over again is a little annoying! We're working on it!

Dont be mad at him. Its my fault i been swearing for like 2 days because i totally unrelated commit screwed the vmr9. The worst about that is we both really dont understand why its not working as it should only under xp

Hey guys,

I did some searching but with 234 pages... this thread is quite the doozy.

Quick question, playing a 720p mkv with dvdplayer, CPU usage on my system is around 35%. I installed the dx version of XBMC, chose to play the media with "dsplayer" and the usage doubles... the media plays (shows the video renderer as EVR) but the CPU actually goes to around 70%...

I couldn't find anybody else with this problem... any ideas guys?

System is Windows 7, Nvidia 7300, XBMC build 28363.

The high cpu usage seems related to the merge from the trunk. But a debug log is never too much!

most likely the high usage is from the JSONRPC bug that was fixed with r28888. i imagine next time you guys merge with the trunk usage will be back to normal.

I've already merged to r28891, so it'll fixed in the next build. Thanks for pointing this out Wink

Anyone else have a problem with that watched files are not marked as watched with latest build?

Also the keyboard shortcut does not work

Edit..

Also noticed the 40GB log file in c when win 7 warned of low space, Rev28772

Odd, it installed ok here. The installer must have corrupted when I uploaded it to my host site.

Good luck compiling your own build, it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it Wink
