- steelman1991 - 2010-04-05 More great work guys - subtitle rendering now looks spot on and for those who want it shadow, outline etc. The only thing I had to change was the default sizing. 28pt nearly took over the bottom half of the screen - kimp93 - 2010-04-05 blinkseb Wrote:New build available! Changelog & link here, http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=70436, but for a summary, better subtitle implementation Impressive! speedy improvement. problems that I reported before are all gone. Looks very good. - pefo - 2010-04-05 Hi at all, i am peter from germany - berlin! Sorry for my bad english. I am use xbmc for over 5 years on my xbox 1. Last week i buy a new HTPC (ASrock ION 330 HT) for my media content. I have found this very good version of xbmc while i have many trubble with the 9.11 camelot version and play mkv files. This problem ist removed with this actual version with dsplayer and it works fine on my htpc. the problem what i have ist: who are the script und plugins now. I can´t in every section work with plugins or script. I need a little help from yours. when i copied my old plugins in the right folder the plugins are not availble in the XBMC! Please help me! Thanks to all Peter - oldpainless - 2010-04-05 pefo Wrote:Hi at all, You wll need to wait...it's a main trunk issue at this stage, rather than a dsplayer fault. Is it right, when the next release or build is come that i install this over the existing version? greeting pefo - steelman1991 - 2010-04-05 Welcome Peter - yes you can just replace one with other. - oldpainless - 2010-04-05 oldpainless Wrote:Downloading now...any fixes for the auto refresh bugs? LOL...I guess not...oh well....maybe the next one.. And Peter - I missed it was your 1st post, so of course, welcome to the forums. K UPDATE - even if I disable auto refresh, set my screen as 23.97, and the try to watch a 23.97fps movie - it's like jerky as hell.....Seb\Tiben - do either of you have a 24hz display for testing - just a question. - blinkseb - 2010-04-05 oldpainless Wrote:LOL...I guess not...oh well....maybe the next one.. No sorry, I only have a 75 Hz display, so it's really hard to test Maybe your issue is related to the new renderer, something related to the vsync or the gpu flush, really don't know. For the auto refresh, no time to work on it, subtitles took all my time, but when thoses will be stable enought, i'll re-work on it, with more success I hope. EDIT: I haven't look to the subtitle disapearing issue after 10/20 minutes, it's really hard to find the bug since you have to wait 20min :p But, in case of, can you tell if it's solved? (there's never too hope :p) - blinkseb - 2010-04-05 steelman1991 Wrote:More great work guys - subtitle rendering now looks spot on and for those who want it shadow, outline etc. The only thing I had to change was the default sizing. 28pt nearly took over the bottom half of the screen It's using DVDPlayer default one, not sure it was designed to be in pt first I think it's not a really big deal - >>X<< - 2010-04-05 Confused, pixel shaders resizers added but how do you select/use them have I missed something :confused2: Hate to say it guys Rars still not working here - tiben20 - 2010-04-05 >>X<<' Wrote:Confused, pixel shaders resizers added but how do you select/use them have I missed something :confused2:well if you want to change it RendererSettings.cpp line 41 just change the value is currently set to Bicubic A=-60 (PS 2.0). There no way right now to modify this value without changing the code - tiben20 - 2010-04-05 >>X<<' Wrote:Confused, pixel shaders resizers added but how do you select/use them have I missed something :confused2:Found the rar problem http://trac.xbmc.org/changeset/29030 - oldpainless - 2010-04-05 blinkseb Wrote:No sorry, I only have a 75 Hz display, so it's really hard to test Maybe your issue is related to the new renderer, something related to the vsync or the gpu flush, really don't know. Seb, Thanks for an honest response...I have tons for respect for honesty. If there is anything I can do to help - give me a shout K UPDATE - is there any way some of your code could have effected dvdplayer in this build?...dvdplayer seems to be having some of the same isssues as dsplayer....if not must be a truck issue...might pay to double check thou. - LyndonW - 2010-04-05 Woops, never mind, ignore all that. Didn't realize I also had to install Haali Media Splitter to get DSPlayer to work. Shouldn't that be included in the installation? Quote:Would anyone have a chance to look over my log and see why exactly DSPlayer won't play any mkv files for me? I looked over it but it doesn't make sense to me It's a clean XBMC setup with no changes done. |
