- Mallet21 - 2010-12-23 Awesome news...can't wait to give this a test drive when I get home. - sergiocos - 2010-12-24 Flawless playback, but no OSD when paused or pressing 'i' (during playback). I'm using Aeon65, but Confluence has issues too. Probably not DSPlayer related... - liquidskin76 - 2010-12-24 oldpainless Wrote:UPDATE - looking good, but anyone else getting high cpu usage? During playback or in general? - liquidskin76 - 2010-12-24 sergiocos Wrote:Flawless playback, but no OSD when paused or pressing 'i' (during playback). I'm using Aeon65, but Confluence has issues too. Probably not DSPlayer related... If you press 'o' instead, do you get the filter OSD ok? How about 'm' for player controls? Cheers - steelman1991 - 2010-12-24 oldpainless Wrote:Thanks Liquid...great job....and thanks Seb/Tiben.....testing now. Can't say I have K, will test again shortly - ripping some stuff at the moment, so obviously won't get a true impression. EDIT - Nope no high cpu usage here - in fact if anything it is now on a par with DVDPlayer in that respect - 1 to 5% usage. you running any other processes? sergiocos Wrote:Flawless playback, but no OSD when paused or pressing 'i' (during playback). I'm using Aeon65, but Confluence has issues too. Probably not DSPlayer related...Yeah I see that too. All other OSD's seem to work. Quite happy to live with that for the great playback qualities. - sergiocos - 2010-12-24 liquidskin76 Wrote:If you press 'o' instead, do you get the filter OSD ok? How about 'm' for player controls? Those two works, only info (during playback) or OSD when paused are not showing. - liquidskin76 - 2010-12-24 I'll do a fresh checkout of my build files instead of an update and test, just to rule out. I've had an issue before (enabling webserver would crash xbmc) that was actually sorted however not showing when i just updated my build files. I'll let you know if it makes any difference. Can someone use DVDPlayer, and check 'i'? That should prove if it's trunk related. - liquidskin76 - 2010-12-24 sergiocos Wrote:Those two works, only info (during playback) or OSD when paused are not showing. I used last night and i got the osd bar when paused ok. Just about to test again. - sergiocos - 2010-12-24 same behavior using dvd player, sorry not to mention that... LE: 'i' works during playback for confluence and xperience, but no osd when paused, no matter what skin used (dsplayer AND dvdplayer) - liquidskin76 - 2010-12-24 Just tested again and i see the same. 'i' is ok, however no osd when paused. Doing a few further tests... - liquidskin76 - 2010-12-24 I'm going to test the following to hopefully narrow it down... - Fresh checkout and build of dsplayer build files - Test of trunk revision 35672 (last trunk commit before dsplayer merge) The actually dsplayer part of the build is unchanged from 35228 (previous most recent build) and that worked fine. So i'm thinking either it's a trunk issue or an error in the merge? - tocinillo - 2010-12-24 And the optical drive detect is broken! XBMC doenst detect any disc, but with trunk latest revision works fine.... How fix it? EDIT: This bug is present in Dharma's beta 3 ,4 and RC1: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=84239 Its possible that blinkseb not include the fix in the lastest SVN? Regards! - liquidskin76 - 2010-12-24 Let me do a fresh checkout of the dsplayer build files (downloading now), then i'll do a fresh build and test. If the bug was fixed for dharma and trunk, then it will be in seb's merge. Like i said, i've seen a fixed bug appearing in my build before and it was because i had only done an update of my build files. A fresh checkout/download sorted. - SpectreX - 2010-12-24 Also, BD folder structures (ripped to the HDD, ofc) don`t play. Tested out with Devil. When you press play it doesn`t do anything. - tocinillo - 2010-12-24 OK. I'm waiting for the new build and I will test it |
