- Tainted - 2009-12-23 >>X<<' Wrote:If this isn't a win7 audio driver problem then I'll eat my hat, is your asrock a HT version because they use realtek audio drivers which definitely have problems with win7 How can it be an audio problem when audio works perfectly fine via HDMI or analog stereo when playing music, menu sounds, window sounds and playing movies on DVDplayer. But.... no sound when playing under DSplayer? - jgiorla - 2009-12-23 Tiben this rocks bro. My laptop has been roaring decoding with cpu, now its nice and quiet. Just installed the version linked on the first post. Everything works great except I have 16-235 color range which looks awful. Tried the nvidia cp setting, didn't change anything, is there another fix? Thanks in advance. - christoofar - 2009-12-24 uninstalled last build XBMC, including profiles & install folder. Installed latest build 25986. Played DTS .mkv, white noise for audio. Shut down XBMC, reinstalled Nividia HDMI drivers, restarted XBMC, audio for .mkv OK. Tried Party Mode, as before crashes XBMC during first tune. Log: http://pastebin.ca/1725353 Am I the only one having this issue using Party Mode? Am I the only one having to continue to reinstall HDMI drivers each time I install XBMC on Nividia/ION platform?? As usual thanks Tiben for your efforts & time spent. - amducious - 2009-12-24 I would love to try this out but it looks like multiupload is down. Is there anyway to get it uploaded somewhere els - tiben20 - 2009-12-24 jgiorla Wrote:Tiben this rocks bro. My laptop has been roaring decoding with cpu, now its nice and quiet. That could be fixed from a setting i think ill take a look if it can be done fast - Spaceone - 2009-12-24 Spaceone Wrote:How? Are you using DXVA? Check please. My HP DM1-1010EL doesn't work (Win7 of course). Errata corrige FFDSHOW must be installed!!! - >>X<< - 2009-12-24 Tainted Wrote:How can it be an audio problem when audio works perfectly fine via HDMI or analog stereo when playing music, menu sounds, window sounds and playing movies on DVDplayer. DSPlayer isn't DVDPlayer is it, DSPlayer uses the audio codec from MPC-HC and people using MPC-HC with win7 and realtek drivers are having problems with 5.1 audio, try using ac3filter with DSPlayer instead - oracleguy - 2009-12-24 tiben20 Wrote:http://www.multiupload.com/IQAN3FKUZX there you go I tried it on XP and it doesn't work. I first was getting an error about MFPlat.dll not being on the system. After a tip from earlier in the thread, I installed the WMP11 runtimes. Now I get an error message when trying to start XBMC saying that MFFrameRateToAverageTimePerFrame couldn't be found in MFPlat.dll. According to the MSDN that function requires at least Windows Vista. I was under the impression this build of XBMC worked on XP. Any thoughts? - christoofar - 2009-12-24 oracleguy Wrote:I tried it on XP and it doesn't work. There is no log to post, the program doesn't even start. I get the Windows error message about the missing entry point in the DLL and the program doesn't load. - tiben20 - 2009-12-24 oracleguy Wrote:I tried it on XP and it doesn't work.
