And I had no idea what that is!
Is that when I simply disable crossfade between songs in XBMC setting? Is there a fix to allow crossfade to be used again in Party Mode without crash?

-directshow Audio renderer can be selected from xbmc gui
Only the english language is done still need to do the tranlation for other language
-evr now using MFNominalRange_0_255 instead of 16_255 that should fix ugly color on tv.
-Also updated filters to the last mpc-hc trunk version

tiben20 cant believe your still coding on Christmas day
Just tried your latest version and according to graph studio audio switcher wasn't loading and VSfilter on my system was loading which didn't happen on other builds
The other thing which I know wont be a priority for you but with this version I cant use "DC-Graphic EQ Filter" which can make a big improvement on a middle end audio system using analogue, just an option to enable it in dsfilterconfig would be good if its to much trouble I guess I'll have to stick to an earlier build
Anyway thanks for all your hard work

Alternative use - using ffdshow for postprocessing - gendo - 2009-12-26
Hi, Thanks for the great work. When using dsplayer if i configure ffdshow - codecs - raw video - all supported. I can use ffdshow filters to improve the image quality. Using postprocessing and de-band drastically improves quality of sd videos. The issue is that with ffdshow - codecs - raw video - all supported set xbmc will not play x264 videos using dxva I have to manuall re-configure ffdshow before viewing an hd movie.

I seem to have a problem with the new build when I play any HD content with DSplayer it now says "not using DXVA"
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for my english (i'm french, and i don't speek very well)
I've problem to run XBMC with dsplayer acceleration...
When i try to launch a movie with dsplayer : the movie is PAUSED !! and cant run...
Its work with DVDPLAYER but not accelerated.
My configuration :
Giada Cube n3 with Nvidia ion 9400
I run Windows 7
Can you explain how to make proper install with this release ?
What i must install : ffdirectshow ? other codec pack ? what configuration i need to make for GPU accelerated ?
Thx to help me (i m new with xbmc) and i like this media center program but i cant read 1080p movie...SNIF !
PS : before i've testing with "classic XBMC release" with "MPC HC" in external player and its work great with Acceleration but i dont like external player mode. i would like to use this release...

Tiben....Merry ,Merry.....I have spent the last 2 days trying to get xbmc to work...I installed Win7 and did a clean install of xbmc....no luck!!!! I d/loaded mplayer front end...nope....been editing xml files for the past 3 hrs...and then I found this thread...It worked straight from the install...I tried some .avi's.. worked great..got this Blu Ray movie for Christmas about a guy from the smokey mountains that goes to France to fight Nazi's...just ripped it to .mkv and it plays flawlessly...I haven't watched a complete movie yet but I have every confidence...I think I will follow this thread...Danke!
BTW..Intel Core2 E8400 3GHz..4Gb.. Win 7 64bit..ATI Radeon 4870 1Gb

I can confirm that, the last build I have here to install that works is 25915, but I dont really know if a working one was released afterwards, because I was offline for a little while...

I would also like to hear if I need to install anything else than xbmc (the build you provided in this tread - 26067 - I think it was).
My system is a Acer Revo R3610 with win 7 HomePremium - and I only added xbmc.
And it says it is not using dxva when playing.
Any way to see if it is running dsplayer - like I set it to in advanced settings.
