Try it it could be added if its fixing problem it would be perfect i dont want any walkthrought to get an option working when it can be done directly in the player code.

It should work considering its the one that's incorporated into ac3filter if I'm not wrong, would you still keep MpaDecFilter as I would hate to lose analogue multichannel not everyone wants to passthrough/bitstream
The Ion 330HT I set up the other day I set to multichannel analogue and also using DC-Graphic EQ and then pumping it all out as a DTS bitstream using its on board ALC890 chip

its strange, but the DSPlayer version is not working for me, it still use the CPU for decoding X264 and stutters like hell.
I'am using an Nvidia ION Nettop which supports DXVA and Cuda, i have no problems playing 1080P MKVs in X264 and h264 on Media Player Classic home cinema.
is the ION the problem that it doesn't work ?
even on my Desktop with an geforce GTX260 it takes about 80% CPU load, but it works fluently.
PS: I already edited the Advancedsettings.xml , thats not the problem.
edit: after reading some postings here it seems that:
- DSPlayer doesn't even support DXVA?
- i Have to implement directShow Filters like CoreAVC and FFDshow, but how can i generate this GUID for the filters? i don't have a good XML knowledge
i'm getting a headache before i even get drunk for the new year's party..

Hrm... I can't seem to get this working under windows 7, I am running 64bit if that makes a difference. Also running build 25915 dx of XBMC.

NexXxus are you using build 25915?
This should work fine under windows 7.
The newer builds do not work under win7, but i think tiben20 is working on that
Another thing about the advancedsettings.xml:

Hey guys,
Using the dsplayer dosen't work for me. Allthough I've edited my advancedsettings.xml as described, XBMC uses dvdplayer to play my videos.
I assume in my installation, there's no dsplayer included!?
in /xbmc/system/players there are just paplayer und dvdplayer folders...
And the log says:

I've tried clean installs of the camelot final build as well as Ikon's 26180-DX and 26180-GL Builds.
BTW: Is it possible to use the dsplayer in an GL-Build in general?

You have to install a build by tiben20. In the movie context menus there than will be a option called: Play with... -> dsplayer

PS: can't wait for tiben's next release, i compiled the latest XBMC.exe by myself but i used the ressources from this release: http://www.multiupload.com/DMQSSP4TKK because the buildsetup.bat doesn't work for me properly.
