seems the seek freezings are not fixed.
when seeking the movie with , or . XBMC freeze and i don't have a chance to return to the desktop, STRG+alt+entf, ALT+F4, win-key, nothing helps... except pressing reset or power button 5 secs...
PS: not the whole computer freezes, only XBMC does, its still in fullscreen and there is no chance to get it off.
Anyway im working on making subtitles working at the moment so i wont touch the rendering stuff at the moment

No video can be played with dsplayer and Win7 on Zotac MAG, log shows the lines above! Last usable build is still 25915.

No video working on Win7 64 (fresh install) on ION 330. Same behaviour as all other builds released after 25915. Reverting back to 25915

Actually i am under win7 64bit and the latest build works great for me!
The only one thing bugging me and i am not even sure it s related to dsplayer is:
When i play with dsplayer a non-x264 video it plays well with ffdshow on my main screen but if i play fullscreen on my secondary screen i got sound with black screen. Works fine with x264 though.
Any idea?

Tried now 25986 (Win 7 x64 on IOn 330): yes it's broken .. same behaviour .. videos don't play.
A quick note: I always installed the newer builds over the 25915 (I did not uninstall it before to avoid losing userdata and archives) .. do you think that it could be the cause of break for the last rev?

Yes. Same PAUSE problem with XBMCSetup-Rev25986-dx.
I deleted the XBMC directory and installed XBMCSetup-Rev26242-dx from scratch. Same problem.

From the options available, yes, it looks like it SHOULD do what is needed, however, after installing it and setting the appropriate options, there was no change anywhere during any playback either in XBMC or MPC-HC. DTS sound sounded like a helicopter, AC3 sound seemed to play fine. Once I put the AC3Filter settings back into the XML file, everything played fine.
EDIT: The SPDif website talks about disabling the decoding of the filters inside the player ("NOTE! You should disable other decoder filters to prevent the decoding of the filter's output.") How do I do this for XBMC/DSPlayer? I just want to ensure that I did disable it. It would be a mistake to conclude that this doesn't work simply because XBMC is decoding the audio as usual.

I'm running Win7 64bit on an ION 330 system. I've had earlier versions working perfectly for DXVA. I've tried the two revisions you mentioned and got debug logs for both.

In both revisions I get the CApplication::FrameMove error in the log. But you also asked us to check the presence of the following line in the logs:

Thanks for all of the hard work.
I am using an old laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon X300 card.
I tried the dsplayer a while back and I was able to get the video to play, however it said 'Not Using DXVA'.
I then read this thread and realized that you hadn't gotten this working correctly for Win Vista or 7 at the time.
I also have recently read that you wanted anyone running Win 7 (i am on 32 bit) to post a full debug log.

Right now, When I choose to use dsplayer to play an hd file on my laptop, nothing pops up, and on the bottom right corner of the screen it says that it is paused with a seek bar.
It might just be because my laptop is ancient, but I thought I would try to contribute in some way.
If I am missing anything else, or if you need more info, please let me know.
