Did you try 25915? Did you delete userdata and all xbmc stuff?

Before you go 3 steps backwards, you´d better try an installation with XP or one from LIVE CD with Linux...Wink

Is is possible to change the language with the dsplayer as long as the mkv file contains multiple tracks ? Couldn't find anything but I read that it may be possible Smile TIA

- NexXxus - 2010-01-04

thats too bad because my PS3 remote doesn't work under XP or Linux,
no working drivers for my Bluetooth Adapter...

type "m" on keyboard while playing a file, then 5 steps left on the speaker and you can select them.

If I wanted to compile the latest revision with DSPlayer support, what branch do I have to compile? This one? http://trac.xbmc.org/browser/branches/dsplayer And if so, does this branch always include the latest revision of the main project?

Thanks for your answer ! Do you mean under audio - settings the audio stream option where it tells me that I only can choose 'none' ? ^^

Almost all my mkv files contain 2 audio tracks and with mpc-hc I can select them Confused I can't find any other option.

Oh, forgot to mention that I'm on Rev26269 and using at the moment Win7 x64 without any major problems for playback H.264 content with 8)

Thanks !

Its the right branch, im trying to update the branch when i have time usualy but with the mass change to get rid of atl mfc library you might get some error when you will try to compile. Ill let everyone know when the break is fixed.

Everything works flawless for me with the latest build except for one thing.

There seems to be a problem with the memory allocation. When I start a movie XBMC allocates about 70-100MB of memory but when I then stop the movie the memory does not get released back and when I start more movies its the same thing. This ends up in that when a couple of movies has been started XBMC allocates a lot of memory and I have to restart it to release all the memory. This makes it annoying to use it.
I have had this problem with all builds I have tested.

Would be interesting if more have experienced this or if its only me...

I use Vista 32bit btw

Yep, happens to me too. Memory not being released after video stopped. I'm still plugging along with version 26021 though (the last that I could get working smoothly with the AC3 codec wedged in). XP 32 here.

I wonder if there's a trick like the <sleepbeforeflip>.85</sleepbeforeflip> line in advancedsettings which drops CPU usage but for memory memory usage...

Directshow dont use a completly different way for rendering. There 3 specific thread involved for windows vista and 7 which is making it hard to add those options to the player without creating massive bugs.

For the memory leak i just reverted the stuff that broken the build so ill be able to look into it.

Cool beans, thanks!

oh my... another problem..

i can hear all audiotracks at once when playing an MKV and use HDMI audio output with the Nvidia soundcard.
It doesn't happen when using the analog stereo output..

does someone know a solution for this?

oh and the DSplayer item in the settings menu is gone, dunno why.

Hi,

I'm having an issue with using dsplayer as the player for all video.

Certain AVI's have a horrible audio delay, if i remove dsplayer as the default player for avi etc, it works fine.

How do i make it so that dsplayer just plays mkv and high quality avi files, and the normal xbmc player play everything else?
