Pm on passion-xbmc.org, I gave you ftp access to store your releases pending a solution. - tiben20 - 2010-01-21 kjgarrison Wrote:Does anybody know of a good clear explanation of all the different flavors of GPU offloading that tells what OS is involved, pros, cons for somebody new to it all?windows xp and 7 read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DXVA linux read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VAAPI a nice link about gpu acceleration i just found there http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=419&Itemid=38&limit=1&limitstart=1 - blinkseb - 2010-01-21 New build ! http://passion-xbmc.org/gros_fichiers/xbmcdsplayer/XBMCSetup-Rev26998-dx.exe (Thanks shaitanfree for the miror !) - Double video issue fixed (due to new filter version) - Multiple audio streams support (thanks to tiben idea) The patch is available here : http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/7342 - Scott R - 2010-01-21 Are there two branches of tiben's build now? Is the original post in this thread not the best place to find the latest releases? Sorry, I'm a little confused. - Matix - 2010-01-21 blinkeb Wrote:New build ! Hi, Is this patch in the build included or is it necessary to compile it with the latest svn from dsplayer ? Can't wait to try the the audio stream options Anyway, thank you both for such a great work on developing the dsplayer, much appreciated ! Please provide feedback on the audio streams ! Quote:Are there two branches of tiben's build now? Is the original post in this thread not the best place to find the latest releases? Sorry, I'm a little confused. No, there's only one branche. Tiben and I are working together - ashlar - 2010-01-21 blinkeb, do you envision being able to tackle the subtitles problem in the future? Is an area of expertise for you? - blinkseb - 2010-01-21 I'm afraid subtitles are out of my expertise Maybe later when i'd fully understand how DirectShow / DXVA worked. - Matix - 2010-01-21 blinkeb Wrote:The patch is included in the build. I haven't tried your latest release but I did try the one you posted yesterday and that release already allowed for switching audio streams. I was playing around with a movie that had commentary and was able to switch back and forth (there was a delay of a few seconds where the video would freeze before the audio switch took effect). - ashlar - 2010-01-21 blinkeb Wrote:I'm afraid subtitles are out of my expertise Maybe later when i'd fully understand how DirectShow / DXVA worked.I hope that you'll be soon joined by an expert in this field, with the exposure that XBMC gets on a daily basis... it's bound to happen sooner or later (I'm taking the optimistic view here! ). - tiben20 - 2010-01-21 paco Wrote:I haven't tried your latest release but I did try the one you posted yesterday and that release already allowed for switching audio streams. I was playing around with a movie that had commentary and was able to switch back and forth (there was a delay of a few seconds where the video would freeze before the audio switch took effect). This is normal because the only way to handle multiple audio streams with every possible splitter is to stop the player reconnect the new audio output and restart the stream. This way you dont need a specific audio switch filter to handle them. And you also dont get problems with audio convertion dropping from 5.1 to 2.0 from the earlier audio switch filter - -Sumo- - 2010-01-21 blinkeb Wrote:New build ! MKVs are now working on my Win7 32bit Zotac Mag. Unfortunately there is another issue now, and that is a stuttering effect when I try to play m2ts with VC-1. With Build 25915, what I prefered several times, both filetypes are playing fine. Unfortunately with 25915 there is no chance to adjust framerate... Thanks and best regards! - AndreStarTrek - 2010-01-21 -Sumo- Wrote:MKVs are now working on my Win7 32bit Zotac Mag.
