can't exit xbmc during a middle of "downloading movie information"? - turbinez - 2009-11-30
It just freezes for a really long time. I have my library automatically update upon startup and sometimes i wish to quit right away but it wont quit. It just hangs for a very long time. I am not sure if this is a bug with xbmc 9.11b1 or what.
Plus at times downloading movie/tv updates takes an extremely long time. I'm not sure why.
does it have to do anything with the xbmchelper.conf file?

The scan has to wait for the currently executing scraper to finish. Thus the long wait in some instances and long wait to exit are the exact same thing.
