Randomly today.. Sick Beard decided to think that I all of my episodes of Conan do not exist. I didn't change anything any either... any ideas?

Edit: Looks like TVDB decided to change the season number 01, 02, etc.. to the year... wtf?

yes this is the problem with using a open and user contributed listing.. things can change at will :/

look at top gear... they changed s16e01 now to a special, and made the last ep of season 15 as s16e00... all kinds of jacked up things going on... at least it's not as bad as family guy/mythbusters.

I'm struggling to get one episode of twin peaks, can anyone shed some light on this?

isn't there some sort of wiki + code submission and approval mashup software? Our community has to be big enough that people could/would donate their time to be an editor/approver for this. I know I would.

I've been using SickBeard for a while now and it is just awesomeBig Grin!

However i have a problem with the relocating and renaming done via SabNZB (with the SabToSickBeard script).

It gives the following error:

I don't know what caused this, since it used to work flawless. Undoubtedly i changed something, but what Confused?

I don't know if this is relevant, but when i try to manually relocate the .mkv file i get the following mesage:

Looks like there are some permission issues going on here. I only use Linux for this stuff so that's about where my ideas run out. Are you running Sick Beard as an admin but not with the right privileges to access your selected shares/drives/folders?

If you want to be an editor you need to apply at the tvdb.org (or however they do that). Community projects definitely have some weaknesses but they have a ton of strength as well!

Cheers!

OMG, i've been giving admin rights to SabNZB and every other folder, just forgot that i've updated SB and apparantelly that removed its admin stuff.

Ok, thanks for your help, i knew it had to do something with privileges, just didn't know what Wink!

SB is working perfect again Big Grin

iirc, zoggy mentioned earlier in the thread that you need to reboot to fix the sbPID error.

I'm a Windows user with a 99.9% fully automated system. No offense to SB or SabNZB, but I do my renaming/copying through a third app. For my TV shows, they are a watch/delete scenario, so none of the folders are permanent.

I have SB find all the shows, and SAB does the downloading into folders (ie-UnsortedTV). As soon as the downloads complete, SAB kicks off a script I wrote.
The script kicks off TheRenamer, which renames and sorts all the shows into folders, etc, and places them into a "SortedTV" folder. I then use Robocopy to move the files to my TVshow share that XBMC accesses.

I realize I am using a few tools that could be reduced, but I have better control, troubleshooting and can add a manual download to "UnsortedTV" and it can be processed the next time something is downloaded.

I'd be happy to share this script/process if anyone is interested. Its all automated.

- mattressfish - 2011-01-25

With all due respect, mine is just as automated - using only SB and SAB.

I'll have to try SB again. Is there a guide you would recommend? I was pretty overwhelmed at first, so I'm gonna give it another go
