That's disappointing as a lot torrents don't have the episode title in the torrent title.

"House.S07E01.HDTV.XviD-LOL" is a perfectly good torrent of House (just grabbed from isohunt as an illustration) with no title.

hi all, I think I messed up my sickbeard install somehow as it doesn't auto start with my computer. I have had it working but since rebooting, I get

Quote:xbmc@XBMCLive:~$ /etc/init.d/sickbeard.sh
-bash: /etc/init.d/sickbeard.sh: /bin/sh^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

I can only think that I ran something as sudo when I shouldnt have at some point. can anyone tell me how I can get it working again please?

Looks like the ^M character is messing up your script? Try a dos2unix on the file and see if that clears it up.

Yes there are tons of "valid torrents" that do not include the title, but somewhere in this endless thread is the reasoning or at least the statement from the script author explaining this decision.

Yesterday I had Gossip Girl download twice in HD about 4hrs apart. The first was named;
Gossip.Girl.S04E04.720p.HDTV.x264-IMMERSE and the second was named; Gossip.Girl.S04E04.PROPER.720p.HDTV.x264-CTU. Processing failed at the last step on the second one.

I am on a limited bandwith and would like to try and correct this because each 1hr HD show is about 1gb.

However this app is the greatest!!

Fair enough, I guess I will stick using showrss for now.

I am using 461 version which looks to be the newest.

SB has never required the episode name, it works just fine without it (torrent or NZB).
