I only use eztv rss and it works fine, one question I have is I have set it to where my tv shows are stored, but what I can't seem to get right is can I then get sickbeard to put it into my tv folder, I have tried a few option but it won't work, any suggestions

Paul

Tell Mr Beard where your download directory is...

Just noticed an issue on "coming episodes" - not all banners show up for me, but some instead a sickbeard banner. This holds true for popular series that definitely have banners on thetvdb. Any thoughts why this is happening. Thanks for any help!!!

When you tel mr beard your download directory I take it you mean in post processing I have pointed it to my tv show folder but it still does not seem to work!!

(Im going from memory here...)

I think its that post processing field, yes. But it needs to know where you download TO for that field. It already knows where your TV Shows folder is, because you told it that when you added the show.

Having a little issue, I tried searching the thread but could only find one person asking about a similar issue but it didn't seem to help in this instance, apologies if I missed any other references to it.

Is there any way to have SB fetch file metadata to add to .nfo's along with episode metadata? These usually allow media flags to be shown for each episode in library mode (in Alaska Revisited here).

With third party media managers such as Ember Media Manager it usually inserts this info after the list of actors.

For example:

Code:
<fileinfo>
    <streamdetails>
      <audio>
        <channels>6</channels>
        <codec>dca</codec>
        <language>eng</language>
        <longlanguage>English</longlanguage>
      </audio>
      <video>
        <aspect>1.778</aspect>
        <codec>h264</codec>
        <duration>73 mins</duration>
        <height>1072</height>
        <language>eng</language>
        <longlanguage>English</longlanguage>
        <scantype>Progressive</scantype>
        <width>1920</width>
      </video>
    </streamdetails>
  </fileinfo>

This info should then tell XBMC to display the correct flags, whereas after SB post-processing it just displays the unknown flag.

I believe the source flag is taken from the episode file name (could be mistaken it's been a while) and this is working fine with WEB-DL, HDTV etc as long as you have 'Append the show quality to the end of the filename?' ticked.

Having a weird issue. I have 33 Active shows in Sick Beard! I have NZBMatrix and NZB.su as search providers! I added shark week and sick beard found it and added it no problem.

Its on both search provider sites but for some reason sickbeard is not finding a single one.. Any ideas? I have it set to search for ANY type of content whether it be HD or SD etc anything.. Weird its not finding it yet all my other shows work flawlessly.

Edit: here is a link to all the shark weeks posted http://nzb.su/search/shark%20week

Because the "scene" isn't following The TV DB's naming scheme.

http://thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=125051&seasonid=470310&lid=7

That's the current season, for it to be found correctly it'd need to be named "Sharkweek.S24E.."

Where as the Scene seems content with "Sharkweek 2011 E01" etc.

Ahh.. Thanks.. am I able to just manually download each episode and just manually post process it with Sick Beard?

it should download automatically (give it 24hrs) or if your impatient go kick off the force full update for that show on the manage page

Unfortunately, it is like this for 2 weeks. Actually, it used to work, but for whatever reasons now only shows the "SB banner" for some. To be more precise, it does work for 90% of the shows, but for some (including famous ones such as Futurama) it does not work.

Any other thoughts?

what does logs show? what language do you have the show set as?
english - http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=73871&lid=7
plenty of artwork there

Language is English, nothing suspicious in the log. Actually just "forced update" and it didn't change.

Very weird, only very few banners are effected, most shows work well...

yes.. if you put on sabnzbd the category as tvshows and then the script to sabtosickbeard.py it should process it.

WHS 2011 Service? - dreamonn - 2011-08-10

Has anyone successfully setup SickBeard to run as a service on WHS 2011?

I've set my 1st WHS 2011 box up at the weekend & I'm trying to configure headphones, SickBeard, CouchPotato, uTorrent & SABnzbd up to run as services, but my only success so far is with SABnzbd after following this guide. I couldn't find any guides as comprehensive as this for any of the other applications in my list.

Any ideas or pointers to an install guide?
