Is there any chance to implement http://showrss.karmorra.info/ for torrent rss ?
It's very reliable and easy to search.

Makes more sense to post request over there...

hi all, anyone know if Sickbeard is capable of handling a failed download for an episode it suggests in Sab?

The reason I ask is because Sab has failed to download 3 episodes due to missing blocks, but Sickbeard hasn't chose different NZBs for it.

no sb doesnt handle your providers inability to locate blocks. use a block/fill server/backup server in sab/nzbget/whatever. or just search for another nzb manually.

Hey,

Ive been having a few of the "doesnt seem like a match so im ignoring it problems" and also a few things it doesnt find but after trying a few manual searches I mange to find what im looking for.

So I was wondering if there is / or will be any kind of manual feature?

So I enter the show and it gets all the details but then I enter manually an NZB for that episode then once it downloads it renames the video file according to the episode I manually added it to.

Thanks

you can always just add the nzb of your choice to sab and set it's script to be the sabToSickBeard

Ah right, so how does that work?

Does the show need to be in sickbeard already?

yes.. otherwise the pp script will throw an error about not being able to parse the show into one that is in sb

Is there a solution/script for subtitle support?

Guy Code issue. The show on MTV2 called "Guy Code" for some reason is showing up in SB as "MTV2 Guy Code" but every usenet link I found is just "Guy Code". I'm guess SB searches for "MTV2 Guy Code" but doesn't find a match. Is there any way for me to get SB to search for just "Guy Code"?

sickbeard take the title from http://www.thetvdb.com

so check in their forums if you can create an alias for the show, that would probably fix your problem

Rather than start a new thread I figured I'd ask here:

I've been using TED forever for downloading my torrents, but recently I've been increasingly running into the issue of fake torrents being downloaded. Basically someone maliciously seeds a torrent with a password-protected zip file that has no real content and directs you to some scammy website for the password.

Does anyone here have this issue with what SickBeard grabs? I've never delved into newsgroups before but was considering taking the plunge.

On the public indexer like binsearch you get those sometimes, but sickbeard doesn't use those... I hadn't any problems with any such files with sickbeard.

I have some problems with older seasons not getting downloaded.
Iam using the free providers I was planing to get VIP for one provider.
Which one should I get or is there another way for SB and couchpotato?

- arabuli - 2012-02-17

Hi, I want to install latest Sickbeard and add more torrent providers from older version(https://github.com/cwc/Sick-Beard/zipball/torrentProviders) . Is that possible?
