Can you recheck the Big Brother.US.S12exx? I still can't get that to autodownload. Whenever I have SB manually check it never finds the NZB file. I think it isn't looking for the correct nzb name format because I can manually find it.
Also I just bough a new computer and I want to switch all my settings with my shows and scripts to my new computer. Can I just copy the SB folder over to my new computer?

I have done what you asked up until now. I posted the relevant parts of the log.
When an episode is changed to "archived", the status is changed to "6". On a re-scan, the status is changed from "6" to" downloaded", which means it is set back to "SD TV".
I am not going to jump through anymore hoops to try and help you fix a problem with Sickbeard. Look into it or don't, it is up to you.
Once again thanks for your help up until now. I will continue to use it and try to work around this problem I have.

Is there a way for SickBeard to handle the mini-series type shows that get tracked by Roman numerals, i.e. PtIV, rather than the standard S01E03 syntax? The Pacific was like this and so is the current Pillars of the Earth series.

I started running Sickbeard from source a couple of weeks ago, and have a couple of questions:
- Right now I'm just starting Sickbeard by running Sickbeard.py. Is there a way I can have it run without the cmd window showing?

If there are changes just delete the file and then pull again. If not and you're on Windows you might need to disable auto.crlf in the TortoiseGit settings. And no, if you're running from source there's no way I know to have no console on Windows.

In fact, there are two methods for the source. Either rename sickbeard.py to sickbeard.pyw or tell windows to use pythonw.exe instead of python.exe to open sickbeard.py. I use the first method but haven't tested the second method. Useful if, like me, you want Sick Beard to run when Windows boots up. If you want Sick Beard to run at boot up, put its folder into C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Roaming\ so it has full write access and drop a shortcut into the startup folder.

FYI, you can also use my sickberd updater script that I finally added to my sig. I have this running as a nightly task on my server.

Only problem I've had so far are shows with special characters in the names don't seem to get recognised.
eg.
Carnivàle.....show added in list but no episodes found and all give error Unable to decode value: 'Carniv\xe0le
a lot of idividual episodes have same issues also.
It's not a big issue as the files are unnafected but I've been using the app to find any gaps in my shows and creates a lot of false positives.
Couldn't find any record of this on the website or here and thought I'd check if others had same issue before adding a bug

Tried to create a useful log to file so deleted show and readded as individual and on adding as individual all episodes added fine.
Retested with red dwarf which had one episode "me²" which gave same errors and removing and adding show individually caused episode to scan correctly this time.
Originally I'd added all shows with the bulk add and once added neither a re-scan or full update resolved.
If you want a log I'll try to find more shows with the issue and just do an update rather than remove and readd.
If you want me to do anything and capture log let me know, don't know if there is a difference in the scraping process between bulk and individual but this has got it working in mean time anyway.
