Sorry if there is already a request, but is it possible to support TV-Show fanarts each season? At the moment only the show fanart is supported by this skin, or?

Okay I've added an option to disable the movie countdown animation in the regular home screen.

Hey F0x123 - season specific TV fanarts? I must have missed that - who's making use of them - so I can check them out?

I only know people say Andyblac's Aeon Showmix does. I know Ember supports this but can't think of any other skin that uses season fanart. I don't have that skin so I haven't peeked at his code.

My search of the Ember thread didn't give any conclusive answer how they do it. My only guess if ListItem.Path trickery??

I saw that the larger fonts are gone.
Now I have only one set of standard fonts.
(In the Previous Build were also a larger fonts available)

Yes EMM supports scraping season specific fanart and showmix 2.5 uses them.

Is it difficult to implement it?

I need trailer support for this skin Smile

Many other skins, ex. Alaska and Aeon have the ability to show a trailer when pressen Arrow down.. In this scin i have to go all the way to "movie info" and choose trailer there... :/

It could be nice, if some kind of pop-up could be made, so when you browse your movies, and press ex. arrow down, then a small popup window with the trailer is shown..

While we're on the subject of TV shows, is there any chance of having something like a DVD case wrap view for TV show seasons? I'm looking for something really solid feeling like the CD case wrap 2 view I love for music albums....

Also...a general question...is thee any way to make my view preferences for each mediatype stick after i use another skin and then come back to Back Row? I bounce around a little between 2 skins, and at the moment all my view settings are lost each time I change skin.

Finally just an annoying naggy repeat of two previously mentioned things;
1 : genre icons view would be awesome
2: The only thing stopping me making Backrow my totally default skin is the choice of movie views....being accustomed to Transparency I do really miss a view with largely unobscured fanart, a short list of movies and the DVD cover in the bottom corners. (Basically like the short list fanart view in Transparency!) - Any plans to ever have something like that in Back Row?

Sorry to be a nag....just curious if you see these things in Back Row's future or not Wink

And another thing I noticed today.

Even with Ken Burns effect disabled all fanarts seem to be zoomed in a bit.

Is that because of my screen resolution of 1680*1050 and fanart resolution (mostly) 1920*1080?

Integrating trailers more is something I'm considering - it's already part of the Fanart View - clicking the grey rectangle around the title activates the trailer if there is one available.

I don't think you currently can do that - perhaps with some sort of restrictive view select screen in the options - ie disable the unused ones.

1. I'd need to rework the root view - something I plan to get round to.
2. Well I wouldn't want to copy Ronie's view but the thing I enjoy doing the most are video views - so I'll always be considering changes, it's finding time to do that amongst all the other little things that get requested.
