TV Show Next Aired Addon - flipje - 2011-01-27

I have a request that as far as I can tell hasn't been asked before: Would it be possible to add the TV Show Next Aired Addon (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=79493) to the skin.

If you don't like it or think it is taking to much time to add, feel free to ignore this request.

We'll look into it. Can't make promises, or how soon if done. I've messaged PPIC in his thread to see what's needed for integration, and from that point if feasible, asking Sharpe if he would mind the legwork doing it "depending on how much work is needed to be done for this to happen". I'll try to help if there's enough demand, but Sharpe is the A+ coder here, not me. It might not be possible for integration yet by reading the "Planned" list. Right now it might just mostly be a normal add-on you would use til they add things to be able to integrate it. I PM'd Mcborzu to see what's up about this.

Here's a summary of the latest updates since last time:

Version 3.1.5
- Added episode numbers to the episode thumbs in the Fanart view
- Added support for Next Aired addon at TV Show level

Version 3.1.4
- Added new info view to programs (support for advanced launcher)
- Added another new info view to programs
- Added a wall view for video addons

Version 3.1.3
- Added submenu on home screen for settings
- Added season and episode number to video info whilst playing

I've tried to go fairly discrete with the next aired info and have managed to fit it into the TV show level in library mode without changing things too much.
Many thanks to ppic and Frost for the great addon and Mcborzu (always a stand up guy when you ask him for help). I'm probably going to add some next aired info to the home screen sometime soon - just not decided in what way yet.

No worries - just added a couple more things:

- Added Next Aired Info for TV Shows in Video Info dialog
- Added download individual TV Theme button to Video Info dialog (Just noticed ppic had built in that functionality - really useful)

Edit - Also just added some "TV Airing Today" info to the home screen - you can toggle it on or off in skin options. I'm still tweaking it - just added a visibility condition so that it won't show if there are no TV shows in your library airing that day.

In what way? - At the moment it's just a little notification to show you details for up to 3 tv episodes that happen to be airing that day (for shows in your library). It picks the 1st 3 episodes that the addon reports back for that day. You can configure it to display or not in skin options.

Or are you meaning along the lines of only notifying you if a particular (user defined) show is on perhaps? - That might be a good idea. However something like that would have to taken up with the addon's authors - ppic and frost.

I meant in the way that it is checking the right schedule. I am in the east coast of canada in a strange time zone compared to EST so if it tells me 8pm EST that would be 9:30 my time. I was wondering if you could configure your location so when it gave you times it would be correct.

Oh yes good idea - not something I can do with the skin but you could check in with the addon's authors and see what they say.

I was looking at the episode list in Fanart Wrap and was thinking you could put the source flag (like hdtv or web-DL) in the spot where the studio flag normally goes in say the movie view (top right hand corner in the episode view)
