Yes possibly - the only thing is it would have to be skin hack based on how you name your TV show episodes. XBMC has no way of determining source info. I mean it's doable but not something I've built into the skin so far as I've preferred to rely on the inbuilt scrapers and the native file info capabilities within XBMC as opposed to naming hacks.

I will look into it though.

The reason I mention it I know that a lot of people "aquire" their shows online from maybe not legit sources and it puts the source in the file name. I guess if people don't have that in the name then it won't show up and will not be different from how it is now.

I know there are a few threads/skins that have a HDTV icon and a iTunes HD icon.

Yeah good point - I sort of strip all that source stuff out with an auto renaming program that I use - but I don't mind adding something like that for others.

- djdafreund - 2011-02-05

It shouldn't cause any issues. All but one i show i collect is 'that aquired way', and honestly i have NEVER once had an issue with naming convention or having to even rename it JUST so XBMC picks it up. (a) it follows the default naming convention XBMC uses, (b) pretty much every episode i get is named just fine already. (IE- "Family.Guy.S09E01.HDTV.XviD-LOL.avi" has extra stuff in it and XBMC STILL catches and grabs info about it just fine. The filenames from online aquired sources are more then adequately named for XBMC to still scrap info for them. I honestly have not had one show episode not show, and i've never renamed. I think wormhole didn't, but that's cause it wasn't even in thetvdb yet, which now it is, and even has banner's and everything.

Yeah I'm just a bit over organised that way - I know they will scrape fine but it's just something I do I guess.

Anyhow I've just added those new images you sent over - cheers

Oh Sharpe, that post of mine was aimed towards the other poster. Just letting him known that by default XBMC setup, it SHOULD be scraping info for downloaded episodes without any issues or renaming, even with stuff in it, the way most all episodes are named online.

korn99uk Wrote:I was looking at the episode list in Fanart Wrap and was thinking you could put the source flag (like hdtv or web-DL) in the spot where the studio flag normally goes in say the movie view (top right hand corner in the episode view)

Okay I've gone ahead and added this - thanks for the suggestion korn99uk.

Does the hdtv also flag the stuff for web-dl? If not there is this post for the web-dl stuff (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=48315&page=70)

- Sharpe - 2011-02-06

Yes if your filename has web-dl in it it will display the web-dl flag.

- korn99uk - 2011-02-07

Does it pull the hdtv and web-dl logo from the studio folder?

- Sharpe - 2011-02-07

No it's packed up with the codec flags in the textures.xbt - if you use the passion repo version of the skin it's unpacked (although I don't think the skin is up to date on Passion at the moment - it's showing a version from a few days back - no doubt it will update soon).

I suppose I could pull them out of the xbt if that would be useful?

#Edit - Yep I've gone ahead and moved all the codec flagging stuff to the images folder - makes sense and fits with how I've done other parts of the skin.

Is it possible to have the TV airing show more than 3 shows?

korn99uk Wrote:Is it possible to have the TV airing show more than 3 shows?

I have the same problem. It will not show more than three shows. There is no space left for a fourth show.

So for some reason my studio flags had gone missing and after a bit of searching i notice that my studios folder was empty. I did see though that with the SVN release the codec flagging has been moved into another folder. I had wanted to try this skin with the Purity codec flags but I didn't want to play with the textures file. With this new change I decided to give it a try and decided to post a pic of it:

Yeah the studio flags folder is not included in the SVN version of the skin. It was an attempt to keep the skin's download size down to a minimum. I always thought that the goal was ultimately to host all the studio flags in one central location for all skins. Until then they are either included when you download from the skin's mediafire download link or can be obtained as a separate download from the studios folder download link. When the SVN version of the skin auto updates - it throws out the old version of the skin complete with any studio folders you may have added.

- Yep thought you might have been wanting to customise your codec flagging (that's why I moved them out of the xbt). Looks good.

Anyway just to update you guys - I've added an extra "Airing Today" entry to take it to 4 items as requested.
