jayhawk785 Wrote:I was in there, I'll take another look. It looked like it would only allow one image, not an entire folder to be selected.

There is a Custom Image button and a Custom Folder button....pretty obvious which is which.

Best Skin Ever !

Thanks Ronie Laugh

wimpy Wrote:+1 on this if you mean "moving fanart" in the background while browsing Smile
EDIT: just read the post above and found out that jay and me meant different things. What i'd want (if it's possible) to add option to have "moving fanart" like in Rapier Qualar skin.

Sounds like you are referring to the Ken Burns effect...we looked into it at one point and decided not to include it...but you or anyone is more than welcome to release a mod to include it. Nod

Another thing regarding Moviesets. You already answered about removing the director/writer/genre bit, but would it be possible to add a text like "Movieset" or "Collection" beneath the Movieset title ? Smile

Not sure what/who Ken Burns is ;D, but I'll have a quick look at it tomorrow Smile Most likely just an <animation> line that needs inputting or changing.

paularms Wrote:Such a beautiful skin. Great work! I do, however, have a few nit-picks and requests.

The animated ripple seems to eat up a lot of unnecessary processing power. Disabling it showed an immediate improvement in general usage.

It'd be great if there were a setting to turn off the animated weather icons... they look pretty crappy against the beauty of the rest of the interface, with the way they are abruptly cut off on the sides when animating.

ok can make it use a static one instead

The ever-so-subtle animation over the background image (is that a starburst rotating?) could use a disable toggle as well. I had to really stare hard to notice it, and it's really just another process-intensive, useless add-on.

on will add a option to disable this to

Are there no navigation sounds? I really look forward to some good sound engineering with interfaces like this.

not been added these can be added after

Can't we just disable the logo all-together? Where can one find instructions/requirements/recommendations for custom logos?

logos can be found in media/animations/ you can use what ever size of image you want also if you want to disable the logo just place a blank static logo and disable ripples that will work the now till i add an option to disable the animation altogether

In the InfoPanel view, it would make a lot of sense to have the actual highlighted item have the largest font size than the director/writer lines. (I'm talking about under the show name [see screenshot])

em give me 5 mins will get back to you lol

I really appreciate the attention that went into all of the different menus and dialogs though (like the file browser that popped up when XBMC asked for the screenshot directory). That always seems like something overlooked when people are creating skins.

I know, that seems pretty nit-picky, but overall, the skin works and looks great! It'll probably be my default for a while to come! Congratulations to Team B.

[edit]Oh wow... hadn't even noticed the media/studio flags until just reviewing the screenshot I posted again. I'm very happy you all chose to make them so subtle, yet still there. I really dislike when they stick out like a sore thumb in some of the other skins. Nice![/edit]
hope this is ok

I love the INFO 'i' screen, but would it be possible to add an option to toggle between that INFO screen and an info screen like this on the picture ? Just without the buttons.

Great work guys!

A small problem I encountered when browsing my Movie collection. No media flag for VC-1. VC-1 is by my media manager by choice tagged as "microsoft".
In other skins I just copied the avc1.png to microsoft.png to get it working. But I can't find them in the flags folder (I guess they are located in a .xpr file).
Any chance you could fix this?

Thanks for the responses, Rocky5!

I think I understand what's going on with the logos now. I wonder, did you explore other methods of doing the animation outside of saving 240 (!!!) separate image frames? APNG comes to mind for this: http://animatedpng.com/, though I'm not sure if XBMC could handle it (if it can't a feature request should definitely be made)

It's not a movie. It's a movieset Smile <set>Austin Powers</set>
Would be nice to have info displaying it's a movieset instead of a movie.

Guys, Magnificent Work. hanging in bed after installing it on my oh so crappy Laptop. Works great, looks great, it's intuitive, has decent viewtypes, performance is good, even on my laptop.

Wouldn't go so far to call it the best skin ever.. YET. ;-) There are a FEW things, that can be added, THEN it will be the best skin ever. :-)

But, I'll wait with suggestions and requests a few hours. I first wanna see what this baby has to offer out of the box.

Thanks to ALL of team Blackbolt. This really was a great year for you guys! Hard work, and 2 new products to be utterly proud of!

Request regarding "Enable recently added on home":
If possible add additional option to update recently list after doing a scan/update library instead of just everytime xbmc starts or everytime entering Home screen.
