[LINUX] Freeze during playback - nlindblo - 2009-12-28 Hi, I am experiencing an issue with movies suddenly freezing (sound and picture) usually for a period of between 5-30 seconds. I initially thought this was down to a network issue as I am storing my movies on a Windows server, but since there is no "Buffering" message during these freezes I started to suspect that this is related to the XBMC PC playing back. Looking in the log files, I noticed I have a number of CDVDMessageQueue(audio)::Get - retrieved last data packet of queue And the occasional CDVDMessageQueue(teletext):ut MSGQ_NOT_INITIALIZED Full log can be found here http://pastebin.com/m7d3f0549 Edit: Above log did not have debug enabled, this should give more info http://pastebin.com/m6d52c8c0 System details XBMC Live 9.11 (release) Motherboard is a ASUS Asus m2n vm hdmi where I use the built in HDMI connection. Sound from motherboard using SPDIF (Optical) Wired Gigabit connection between server & XBMC If anyone have experienced this before or have any suggestions what I can do to troubleshoot further to fix this it would be appreciated. I'm going to update to karmic/camelot soon, I'll see if it carries on.
