Can't find keymap.xml & lircmap.xml - zlooo - 2009-12-30
I can't seem to find these files, I looked in my userdata and even the keymap folder there... nothing.
Do you download these files and add them to XBMC?

If you install xbmc live then the lircmap is in:
/usr/share/xbmc/system/Lircmap.xml
and your keymaps are in the folder
/usr/share/xbmc/system/keymaps/

I edited it... but now it won't let me replace or delete the files... what am I doing wrong?

first update your db (sudo updatedb)
2nd search for them via locate (locate Lircmap.xml)
3rd you'll need root privs to edit them so use sudo editor file (sudo nano /path/to/file)
