also to mross:

nah, that's just exemplary Cool
you have to use whichever IP your XBMC installation is assigned to (find out via system -> info)

mross22 Wrote:WOW! Thank you again! A few questions as I await my Asrock 330 HT in the mail from Newegg -

1. does your dualboot download from either the first page of the forum or your website always contain the most cutting-edge build?

2. On your site, you wrote the following:

The various Web services are running behind apache webserver. Komt de media center op onder het ip-adres 192.168.0.110, dan zijn sabnzb, transmission en mt-daapd te bereiken (met xbmc als username en xbmc als wachtwoorden) op de volgende adressen: Does the media center, among the IP address 192.168.0.110, then sabnzb, transmission and mt-daapd to reach (as with xbmc xbmc as username and passwords) to the following addresses:

http://192.168.0.110/sabnzbd/ http://192.168.0.110/sabnzbd/

http://192.168.0.110/transmission/ http://192.168.0.110/transmission/

http://192.168.0.110/mt-daapd/ http://192.168.0.110/mt-daapd/

does this mean the asrock needs to have a fixed IP address of 192.168.0.11, or can it be DCHP?

3. Am I prompted to make user XBMC during setup?

thank you for all you are doing -

IP can be what ever the box gets assigned to on your LAN. However i would recommend setting a static IP, imho it makes things easier.

Hello!

My problems seem to never end.
Saw another movie yesterday at 720p.

Everything is working properly. But as soon as it becomes a vertical sequence as it becomes jerky.
I use XBMC Live V8. Run all the settings are preselected for v8.
Vertical sync: let driver choose and so on.

The only addition I made is that copied this in my xorf.conf
http://pastebin.com/m3d6be142

It solved some jerk problems I was having. But not vertical.
Any ideas?

Hello, I'm new to using this and definitely like what I see so far! I have a few questions though:

1. How do I upgrade from V8 to V9 without losing my settings?

2. Do you intend to incorporate the 'lanczos' scaling option when watching SD content?

Cheers!

erhnam Wrote:This upgrade also contains the final version of the Alaska skin and a fix for the Music path for mt-daapd. These two new items will included in v10.

when to expect v10 ?

I won't be adding new features. Only bugfixes or new Nvidia drivers. Consider v9 as my last big release.

In that case; Thank You! I'm just waiting for my tax returns and a little extra cash to come my way so I can build a new Ion box, and having a pre-configured, ion optimized live disk with all the extras is a blessing. Keep up the good work man!
