I changed this in v10. Now it has triple audio output Smile

That liveCd is great!!!

How can I share all my /home with samba?

Whick is the user and pass from the samba user preconfigured on /etc/samba/smb.conf?

Thank you very much for this!!!

Cheers.

Samba doesn't ask for any passwords. It is configured to work with guests.

erhnam, in v10 what should all the settings in audio output be?

audio output: digital
audio output device: default
passthrough output device: hdmi

thats what I have mine at seems to be working ok was just checking if those are the right settings.

also in v10 the version of xbmc is still to old to run the latest Alaska skin was just wondering if that was going to be updated or not.

thanks for the livecd everything is really good, its been awesome so far!!

Just try to remove the .asoundrc configuration file from your home directory and configure xbmc to use hdmi audio. You could also try to follow this guide: http://www.xbmcfreak.nl/en/xbmc-live-triple-audio-output-nvidia-ion/

erhnam, how would i go about upgrading sabnzbd to the release candidate? i can understand not wanting to include it in your release, but i'd personally like to be able to use it. i thought replacing sabnzbdplus in /usr/bin/ and replacing the /interface/ and /sabnzbd/ folders in /usr/share/sabnzbdplus/ would do the trick, but no luck.

Why not using this one? http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/install-ubuntu-repo

erhnam, do I need to upgrade, or does the dual boot contain v10? Thanks in advance

Hi erham

Great work on this live cd!

quick question I have v9 and I want to upgrade to v10. I know you have listed the commands but how do bring up the linux console when on xbmc to actually type in the commands?

control+alt+f1

similarly you can log in with an ssh client like putty

gave that a shot. it looks like the upgrade went ok, but i get a 503 error when i try and bring the page up. i know it's working though because i can bring it up in lynx on http://xbmclive:9090/. i'm wondering if this is an apache issue. i am only familiar with running sabnzbd standalone and not from behind apache. any help would be appreciated as i try delving into this further.

edit: i can open http://127.0.0.1/sabnzbd in lynx, but i get the 503 error there as well. http://localhost:9090/ doesn't seem to work and neither does http://127.0.0.1:9090/, both result in "unable to connect to remote host".

Is it possible to seed this iso as a torrent, download speeds are pretty slow and often fail.
