But just to clarify...that will be *after* I choose "automatic", right?

It could be very nice and cool that the startup screen (XBMC logo with the spining wheel) shows from the begining and until the end of the loading process (just before the other XBMC logo is shown) but right now, there is some text messages (like the disk id, and other texts) that are causing that the logo only shows for a second. How can i hide all text messages?? I suppose that i must edit some file and add > dev/null at end, but i don't know what files to edit. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

regards,

I don't either, but only on files with Dolby Digital, where I used AC3 passthru on Handbrake.

Download the ISO, Use Unetbootin to put it onto the USB drive; passing the necessary steps of burning to cd, booting, then installing to USB drive.

I love this version and this would make it perfection!

how would I make fluxbox start with xbmc from bootup. I tried editing the .xsession in my home folder but it just gets replaced back to default when I restart.

Can anyone give a rough guess on how long a cold boot takes using v10?

Cheers

30-40 seconds, tops. I turn it on, walk to the kitchen, walk back to the den, and it's up and running.
