I turn it on, walk to the kitchen, walk back to the den, and it's up and running. 37 seconds for me. - NotShorty - 2010-01-31 erhnam Wrote:Here’s another release of the xbmcfreak livecd for nvidia users only. Quick question, are you updating the original post with the latest info about your releases? I've had no time for XBMC lately, and this thread has quickly ballooned to 10+ pages. I'd love to read it all, but I'll be ok as long as I can play around with the newest additions, even if there are a few bugs. Big thanks for adding Blu-Ray under Linux support. I had no idea such a thing existed. I can use my BD-ROM in XBMC, w00t! NS edit: Nevermind, adding the RSS feed at http://www.xbmcfreak.nl/ to Google Reader - inAndr - 2010-01-31 Hi, I have Zotac MAG and I have problem with immediately waking after suspension. I have read how to fix it on wiki-page: Quote:Add a boot option to grub to disable the usbcore autosuspend. This bug exhibits itself as immediately waking after suspension. but I can't do it with your version - I can't find grub folder and needed files Could you explain what I should do to fix this bug? Are you plan to fix it in your future relizes? - coupas - 2010-02-01 I'm having some problems getting the images onto a USB drive.. any tips and trix? Ordinary Ubuntu works fine to get to USB and boot. - jonn - 2010-02-01 osirisjem Wrote:37 seconds for me. Is that with a 5400 drive? It's stock Asrock ION 330 HT, looks like its 5400rpm. http://www.asrock.com/Nettop/overview.asp?Model=ION%20330HT - 320GB 2.5" HDD doesn't say RPM. So if yours takes 37 seconds, getting a 7200 rpm drive should shave a few seconds off that? - erhnam - 2010-02-01 NotShorty Wrote:Quick question, are you updating the original post with the latest info about your releases? Yes, see the second post. - UglyBob - 2010-02-01 Hi! I have a question that might be slightly off topic, but anyway... I tried playing a full bluray backup this weekend by playing the m2ts-file. Worked fine.. But I have some small judder every few seconds. I don't know, but it doesn't seem to be judder from incorrect frame rate or something like that. It's just not smooth and it is easily seen when the camera moves. It's smooth for 2-3 seconds, then a small judder and smooth againg. So I'm just wondering, are these ION-systems supposed to be powerful enough to decode full blurays? And if so, any ideas of what to check/configure for this to work? - erhnam - 2010-02-01 UglyBob Wrote:Hi! Should this be followed ? http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=66658 These instructions don't apply http://www.asrock.com/support/note/Ubuntu%289.10%29IR.pdf - erhnam - 2010-02-01 Btw; I created two new livecd's built against svn: http://www.xbmcfreak.nl/en/xbmcfreak-svn-versie-27017/ http://www.xbmcfreak.nl/en/xbmcfreak-live-svn-versie-27338/ The latest one also includes the broadcom crystal hd drivers! - Icefeldt - 2010-02-01 erhnam Wrote:Btw; ?
