With the latest build I loose the context menu command from my remote, what can I do to fix it.

- zenox - 2010-06-28

Using the latest build I cannot seem to show the 'Movies' & 'TV Shows' Main menu buttons. They are grayed out on the skin settings home window options. Is there anyway to enable them?

- zenox - 2010-06-28

Also, I cannot browse a share that is password protected. The 'camalot' build asks for a password, but the latest version just hangs at 'working'.

zenox: you cant browse password protected SMB shares like on old versions of XBMC any more. you have to manually add a new network location, and that will then add the SMB share to your list of locations.

You have to enable your library, upgrading may have wiped out your existing library so re-enable it.

The plist seems to only list the trunk builds and not the Dharma builds. A fix would be great!

"please" or "thanks" would be nice, dont you think?

Well, I said "A fix would be great!" which signals that I really would appreciate if someone would fix it.

You don't really think much of us "lusers", huh? Even the users that report bugs and donate money?

Edit: And, btw, please and thanks.

"A fix would be great!" sounds like you are demanding a fix

I think a lot about the users, see my posts and tell me where was I unfair to someone in past.

now you just taking a piss

I don't think "A fix would be great!" can be read as "I demand that someone fixes this!". I considered this a bug and thought I'd drop a line and see if someone would fix it.

I really don't know if you have been unfair to anyone, but I've seen other members that seem quite trigger happy in the past.

I didn't demand a fix and I'm sorry that you understood it that way.

If you'd like to be able to install the Dharma nightlies from the Launcher and don't want to wait for an official update I whipped up a script that generates a plist with the link to the latest one listed on http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/osx/.

Code:
ssh [email protected]
defaults write com.teamxbmc.xbmclauncher XBMCAdditionalDownloadPlistURLs -array-add http://xbmc.andersmilton.com/nightlies/latest_nightly.plist

The plist is linking both to the official nightly build and the standard update script, so there should be no problems. I've just tried it and it seems to work as planned.

Thanks!

The official one will be updated soon, too.
