Oh man.... What a hell ! In the SYSTEM menu the options are:
APPEARENCE
VIDEO
MUSIC
PICTURES
WEATHER
NETWORK
SYSTEM
SKIN

I only found a "ADDONS" option, under SKIN menu. So I tried to load it, but it didn´t recognized the .zip file.

I put the SYSTEM and SKIN menus on a skydrive account: http://cid-663a10a83b14c5b9.photos.live.com/browse.aspx/XBMC%20trying%20playing%20BD?uc=2

Plz, continue to help me !

Thanx

What version of XBMC are you running?

Hummm... I use the version I downloaded a week ago. BTW, I tried to find an "about" icon, but I can´t. How can I discover the version ?

Thanx a lot.

I have the latest "official" windows release:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xbmc/files/XBMC%20for%20Windows/Camelot%20-%209.11/xbmc-9.11.exe/download

And this release doesn´t have the SYSTEM > ADDONS menu. So I think this option is on some "Current Testing Release" version. Which one I download ?
xbmc-r33324-Dharma_beta1.exe
xbmc-r33778-Dharma_beta2.exe
xbmc-r34731-Dharma_beta3.exe
xbmc-r35068-Dharma_beta4.exe
xbmc-r35326-Dharma_rc1.exe
xbmc-r35567-Dharma_rc2.exe

BTW, my HTPC is: Core 2 Quad, Intel MB, GeForce 9800GT, Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Thanx in Advance.

Download the plugin from the first post and follow the instructions there. That should work for 9.11 Camelot release.

[EDIT]
Oh, if you want to update to Dharma, then take the rc2 one, it's the latest and greatest atm. If you upgrade you can use the zipped addon.

- eskro - 2010-12-13

install xbmc-r35567-Dharma_rc2.exe

Almost there...

I installed Dharma rc2 and sucessfully installed the blurayMKV plugin (fig. 1). But I tried 4 options with diferent results (fig. 2) and no one good:
1) Play: XBMC hangs and I need to press CLTRL+ALT+DEL to kill the program
2) Browse Disk: fig.2 and fig. 3 occur, even after a "subst" DOS command to emulate a disk drive pointing to the folder structure copied onto HD.
3)Play Filelocation and Browse Filelocation: allows me to browse, but ddin´t recognized bluray folder structure.

Is this really SO DIFFICULT to playback a bluray disk structure copied onto HD ? With DVDs it is so easy thing to do.... Sad

If you folks can continue helping me....

Thanx in advance.

have you installed MakeMKV on your PC also?

if not, here --> http://www.makemkv.com/download/Setup_MakeMKV_v1.6.2.exe

install it

then in the BluRay plugin settings --> http://fwd4.me/aGG

make sure its pointing to 'makeMKVcon.exe'

all should work now,,,

Actually, you don't need the plugin to playback bluray from HD anymore. Dharma has libbluray support so it will play the longest feature from a HD rip straight away. The only reason to use the plugin in this case is if you want to select another playable chapter on the disk.
