[AppleTV] Fire Core's aTV Flash vs. ATV Patchstick? - benni86 - 2010-01-23
Im just wondering who has tried both and what the major differences are... i have ATV flash at the moment and it seems to be ok, but i am no longer a member with ATV flash and do not have the files to re load if i were to try the ATV Patchstick....
who prefers what and why... nay major pros and cons of each that useer have come across?
any advice would be much appreciated

Patchstick is a waste of money. If you want to be nickeled and dimed to death, then go for it. There are plenty of FAQs on the web to use the free ATV USBCreator and installing nittoTV and Launcher manually. As well as enabling FTP.

Paying someone to have a preinstall of open source software is ludicrous
Just get the patchstick and you can start from there
For Mac there is also ATVPwn that is a good tool but does not work for all versions
