I don't understand why people take the grills off the speakers, I think it looks tacky. But to each their own.

It would look really polished if you used some cloth covering in frotn of the speakers so your attention is focused on the TV and not all the shiny speakers.

What about speakers that don't have grills? =]

I've been using MP but saw the XBMC PR and figured I'd give the new build a try. Looks like a bit of a pain to get it working with hdmi audio pass-through, so I most likely will be waiting until dsplayer has proper integration before returning to xbmc as a mediacenter solution.

Anyway...

I've actually never come across any consumer speakers sans grills.

d1ddyp0p, Everything is work in progress, so don't worry too much, I used to have 7 ext drives, but am just putting them into a ner server now, so they'll all be on one cable, hidden in a cupboard somewhere! Big Grin

Just seen these two that look good quality and affordable... I may have some more cables to hide soon!

lol... you know your TV stand is backwards?! The angled glass is to allow you to place it in the corner of a room and is supposed to be the rear of the stand. The way you have it currently configured blocks the controls on your receiver.
