Looks like he may have had to place it that way due to the dimensions of the base of the TV: It's larger in rear than front. The exact opposite of the stand in it's correct rotation.

IMHO, TV base is 180 deg. rotated, too.

Edit: Nope, it seams manxam is right - base seams fine, at least judging from pictures found on internet. Interesting. My base looks just opposite - rear base part is longer than front.

I have an LG TV where the back is larger than the front just like the one in the pictures. Can't rotate 180 either.

^^ Pretty cool, but your PC is grossly overpowered for an HTPC setup.

i wouldnt really say so. minimum power reqirements for that buildout needed 650w i wanted a machine that was a main htpc. 8 channel dvr. webserver. samba server and take care of home automation.( e.g. runs a/c heater and more based on current kwh prices).... it had to be on 24/7 and not really get too stressed out. id rather had a demon running at 30% load / that something like my 2.4 c2d at 80%

tho i agree with you on 1 fact...its noisy... and a water setup its almost impossible in my current config in my current case

There's no way you need something that powerful for an HTPC. I'm running a 10 year old Pentium 3 with a newer video card and it plays 1080p fine. 8-channel DVR as in 8 tuners? They should all be hardware encoding anyways so CPU isn't a huge concern there either. Everything else isn't super CPU intensive so again, slightly overkill. I laugh at 1KW PSU too. Even people that run Folding boxes off 4 power hungry video cards don't consume that much power.

But it's already built, so no point arguing here Wink

hope you like....... fuck arguing (took all that bulshit out)......i love it

^^ You need to relax man. Yes, of course your top of the line box will crush my 10 year old CPU, that should be pretty obvious. The only thing my HTPC box does is XBMC, that's it. So, it doesn't need to be a power monger. I could afford several of your builds, but why waste the money if it is not needed? Yes, you may have two BD drives and lots of encoders, but do you ever run EVERYTHING at once to consume that much power? Yes, computers may need more power than before, but an additional hard drive will consume an extra 5-10watts of juice. Your 8 channel encoder doesn't require hundreds of watts to run. Your CPU will consume MAYBE 150watts at full load. Have you hooked up a meter to measure how much power you're actually drawing from the wall? I bet you'll be surprised.

draws 390 w @%10varience at ilde (30% user load considered idle)
draws 630 w @%10varience on system load test.. not a 100% device load..(burner kicking all 13 hdds at load) believe me before spending that money i did the math. i do have a degree.
