sure is nice. everything on its own rail. necessary absolutely not. but neither is your neighbors corvette. he can afford it. all 6.Xl of gas guzzling insanity.... let me stop this stupid conversation.. i want better that necessary... end of story i want better than acceptable... fucking sue me.....end of bs. buttt... too far off topic for me. adding some REAL content to this post..

here is my remote setup on the main htpc. screenshots from the wysiwyg editor. taking good pictures of lcd's sucks.
custom layout for the tsu7000 /7500....... When i can easily afford a tsu 9500 ill get rid of the pos logitech in my master bedroom and dedicate the 7500 to there.
will be posting the config file in the supplemental tools section.. just incase any of the sick setups in this thread are using phillips remotes.there is about 40 pages in this config in total . as soon as i get my 9500 ill work on a port to that.[Image: PRONTO.jpg]

please dont tell me that my remote is overkill to.....lol of course i dont need it.

^^ Are you running a video card on your HTPC or just the i3 GPU?

- jbcain - 2011-01-19 19:30

no discrete card. haven't found a need for it yet. my video and audio are silky smooth. I've heard the 23.xxx vs 24 argument and i just don't see it and neither have the few people i've asked to look for it. I'm patiently waiting for bitstreaming now Smile

How about 1080p, does the i3 do that ok too?

- jbcain - 2011-01-19 19:38

absolutely. i never see more than 30% of cpu use during a 1080p dts playback. it normally hovers in the 22% range
