Answer: elupus Wrote:the dxva option is right.. was to lazy to add a 2 at the end cheers! - glenner05 - 2010-02-07 I just installed the latest trunk, all HD files play fine (H264), however, playing a simple dvd (vob files or straight from disc) is not smooth at all. Lots of stuttering, seems something to do with dxva upscaling. I get the best results selecting bilinair, but its still not smooth. Under linux i could select lancos optimized without any hickup.... my machine is a pov ion 330 (like the asrock). Is hardware upscaling already supported with these builds, and of nu or not yet working fine, can i disable the upscaling somewhere in order to play dvd's for now? - rinse82 - 2010-02-07 gsuss Wrote:Question: Thanks! Wondering why I'm having 1080p issues though. Just a black screen with the audio stuttering. - Skindred - 2010-02-07 rinse82 Wrote:Having issues with 1080p mkv's where it'll just go to a black screen and I just hear audio Same here; Core i7 920 ATI HD4890 (latest drivers) - Buckster - 2010-02-07 Skindred Wrote:Same here; same here -but no audio either ! - elupus - 2010-02-07 The scalers make no difference when using dxva - Buckster - 2010-02-07 elupus - thats interesting as only if I force to Bilinear do I get anything like smooth playback (thats on content that will play) in any of the others dropped frames, and odd 1/2 frame rates like 12.5fps etc does that mean DXVA decoding is not working ? - elupus - 2010-02-07 Buckster: Yes most likely - xbs08 - 2010-02-07 rinse82 Wrote:Strange, I've got Windows 7 but only option I see under render method is DXVA, not DXVA2. me 2 - SlaveUnit - 2010-02-07 elupus Wrote:the dxva option is right.. was to lazy to add a 2 at the end There is no DVXA2 option. DVXA1 is not supported so the option "DVXA" is DVXA2 only. - Freakish - 2010-02-07 I have issues with the screen being only 1/4 size with .mkv's....(Only a small section on the top left on my screen is playing the video) Only happens on AVC material, other than that it's looking really good. Win7 x64, Nvidia 8800GTS 512Mb. Has anyone else seen that issue? - nekrosoft13 - 2010-02-07 27527 build and still no with advancedsettings.xml file still black screen and audio loops. without advansedsettings.xml file, i get green screen when playing h264 files, and then if use CPU rendering, video playback is stuttering, it looks like it keeps droping half the frames. so far DXVA acceleration a big let down |
