Im not sure if you did this but now dxva is shown on the "o" menu. Thanks so much if you did this. Hell even if you didn't thanks so much for DXVA on here anyways.

ATI hardware is completly useless

still green screen while playing certain files

XBMC still completly freezes at black screen while video ends (ok if you press stop)

i'm sick of this ATI BS, going to buy nvidia GT220 tomorrow.

I did some testing yesterday and the flicker issue is still there, but if you hit escape while playing the movie you get the overlayd xbmc osd while the movie is playing in the background,then the movie seems to play absolutley perfect in the background. No flicker and no tearing. I made a fraps of it, maby it can help.

Have the same problem om my pc with an 5870 on win7 x64
if i press esc the flicker is gone whan the other overlay comes up

and the screen still flickers but not if i press esc and let the menus get over the movie

Hi,

I have also some problems with DXVA2. I am using the newest build from http://www.sshcs.com/.
My system specs are given in my signature. Sometimes when playing a movie I cannot open "info" & "menu".
But the movie plays fine and I can fast forward/backward without any problem. Always the first ~6sec.
of any movie are played with about ~6-10fps. And resuming a movie often causes XBMC to crash totally
(black screen, sound looping).
I hope this will be totally fixed when (hopefully son) the new official release is coming out.
But DXVA2 is rly nice so far!

Nope it dosent and just updated the svn to my pc and build a new one now i just have a black screen and the movie runs under there and if i press esc to get back to home meny i can se the movie running

Is there any control for BRIGHTNESS in the Windows version? In Linux I had BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST but in the latest Windows version I can only see the CONTRAST control... how can I increase BRIGHTNESS in the Windows version?

I've been searching the forum but couldn't find a exact answer... should I adjust outside XBMC? (Win7 display settings)
