Yea I had a feeling that's the case. I've rearranged my structure to keep all seasons as separate shows and keep no 'Season' folders. They're all working fine now.

Thanks for your help.

volforto, great work Smile working like a charm here.

My only question is if it's possible to select the episode name that will be shown on the xbmc... I would rather have on english or my native language (portuguese) then just japanese.

again, great work Smile

I had some problems with series not showing in the library, but that got fixed with this scraper.

I still have a problem with One Piece. In the library there is a folder One Piece but no episodes are showing.

Can anybody help me out here?

- khloke - 2010-08-25

I have One Piece on my list and it's working fine. How did you name your files?

- Regul - 2010-08-26

One Piece - 460.mkv
or with the whole fansubgroup and stuff in the filename, but both don't work.
For Naruto Shippuuden this works without any problems

Regul, take a look in the AniDB scraper thread. On pages 10 and 11 there are a number of solutions. This is a scraper independent issue.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to address it, but basically XBMC would freeze up on me whenever i use animenewsnetwork scraper on certain series, particularly those that are considered second seasons or ovas.

I've used it on Code Geass R2, and while it completed without freezing (first time I've seen something like this completed), the episodes became missing from the library. When I tried it on Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid, XBMC would freeze, forcing me to force quit.

Here's the debug log for the two series that I mentioned if it helps.

Also, I'm using an advancedsettings.xml that Scorpius posted in the anidb.net thread, but the problem already existed before I started using it.

Any idea on what's causing this?

I seem to be having a problem with series with an exclamation mark at the end (Specifically Hayate no Gotokou!), my folder does not have the exclamation mark but the episodes do and scraping subsequently freezes (as does the rest of XBMC) I am forced to do a hard reset.

I'm not sure if this is a bug in the scraper or some adjustment I need to make to my RegExp's?

- EMK0 - 2010-08-28

i am wondering if we could make somehow a regex that could be updated or included in the scraper so that it picks up fansub file names and can be updated from that addons? and also so that it doesnt effect tv show scraper. Most people who get anime don't rename there files and i don't think people will figure out how to add regex to there advanced settings after they enabled the scrapper in xbmc unless they are like us who read the forums.

oh and can someone please who uses only funsub file names post exactly what they use and regex that works, so far i got bleach to work but Naruto shippuuden shows 1x75 instead of 1x175.

I don't have a solution, but I'm having a similar problem in Dharma Beta1 (and earlier) on both Linux32bit/Ubuntu and Win64bit/Windows7. In particular it goes nuts with "Armored Trooper Votoms: The Heretic Saint (OAV)". On Win64bit this causes a crash... Linux32bit keeps going, but if you try to cancel the scraping it locks up the GUI.

I've just compiled lastest svn revision of xbmc after long pause in following it's development. I've got problem with ANN scraper, it stucks on particular title (Senkou no Night Raid), uses 100% of CPU and then crashes xbmc. Other titles in library seems to be scraped fine.
I'm not sure if it's scraper's or xbmc's fault, but anyway, here is crash log: http://pastebin.com/HzHrXAkj

Me too for "RIN - Daughters of Mnemosyne"
Had to stick it in a separate folder to avoid scanning...

- olympia - 2010-12-11

This issue should have been fixed.

Which scraper version are you using?
...and as always a debug log could also help.

- xbmcoholic - 2010-12-14

My apologies,
I just cleaned out the database and rescanned the folder. All is well now...:o
