Are there any others out there running an Asus EEE or MSI Wind touchscreen with XBMC , under linux and not experiencing issues with the touch panel.
It seems that when i launch XBMC in full screen mode, the touchscreen functionality is removed. Keypresses on the screen are no longer detected. Yet running it in windowed mode is seamless.
I have configured X to use the evtouch driver, and so far all apps, with the exception of XBMC (svn builds) seem to work fine.

may i point you here?
there's something with evtouch not making it work, so maybe you could have better luck using plain evdev
is the behaviour the same i had? pointer following the finger but no way to have a keypress? if not, i really don't know
