Looking for dual svideo input solution - bmunday - 2010-02-09 New to XBMC for linux, I am looking for a hardware and scripting solution to integrate my Wii and a Windows PC as optional Svideo input devices. I am only looking to be able to select and watch either of two svideo's, whichever is active or explicitly selected, depending on whether I am playing Wii or using the windows PC. No encoding of the streams in necessary, only display, but I would like it well integrated into the XBMC interface. I already have an Nvidia 6200 8x AGP, VGA/composite/DVI for output on SD TV and I only have a single PCI clot available on an IDEQ 200v. I would like to find a PCI solution that has two svideo ins that is well managed by ubuntu. Any takers? - drivesoslow - 2010-02-09 I would just grab two USB capture cards. There are a ton of cheap analog ones floating around ever since the digital TV conversion. As far as viewing them I would suggest using a backend like tvheadend and then just adding the streams as souces. |
