I think I found a bug. Does not happen in Confluence but does consistently in Alaska Revisited and Alaska Revisited Mod. Here are the steps to recreate.

Go to New Movies.
Highlight a movie and select Info
a) If you use Exit to return to the list then hit Info again you will get a screen that says Content Isn't Set. Nothing works but you can cancel out of the screen. At this point you cannot info into any selection until you go out to the Main menu and re-enter New Movies. This is unexpected behavior.
b) If you use the Info button to return to the list you can hit Info again and return to the movie info, or you can move to any other movie and select Info and you will be taken to that screen. This is as expected and seems to work correctly.
This behavior is also seen in Movies, not just New Movies. It is happening on three instances of AR all running Dharma RC2 on Ubuntu (2 on Maverick, 1 on Lucid).

Doesn't happen on Windows using either ESC or BACK.

What exactly is EXIT?

Sorry, Exit is that same as Back I forgot I mapped Back to the Exit button on my Logitech remote. I do not use a keyboard nor is one hooked up so I can't test Esc.

So Info to get back works but Back to get back results in an error. I am not sure who else uses Linux, I knew from previous posts you were on Windows and developed Alaska on Windows.

It would be nice if someone else on Ubuntu could test this for me.

Nevermind, rebooted system after updating to new version from repository and now cannot duplicate issue.

I also coded it so you can press DOWN to close the Info.

Okay, seems like I just can't win today. I can't for the life of me get Play Random Movie to work. Press enter and it does nothing, not even the busy animation that usually plays in the upper right corner.

Also RecentlyAdded is still not running correctly. When I up arrow on the home screen I get the Seats picture with the word Unavailable under it.

Hitcher any chance of play random TV show can be done from within a TV series?

ie:
TV Shows > Sopranos > Play Random Episode

Also, is there an auto update on the revisted repo to include the random episode? It hasnt updated for me

XBMC checks every 6 or 12 hours for any updates I think, and no the script doesn't work in series.

Update and Auto-update Issues - Voyager - 2010-12-09 10:37

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else. I'm using Alaska Revisited and cannot update the skin addon while "in the skin". If I do that, upon completion of the update, XBMC becomes "all white" and unusable. I can only close it using Alt-F4 (windows). When I restart XBMC, the skin is gone (I get Confluence again) and I have to redownload Alaska Revisited. Then it works.

The problem also happens unexpectedly now, ever since auto-update is on (I will have to turn that off in order to avoid this when I'm not the one using it!)

The only alternative way I found is to first switch to Confluence, then download the update to Alaska Revisited, and then switch back to Alaska Revisited.

Any IdeasConfused??
