I think i know whats the problem. I deleted /use/share/xbmc/media/fonts/arial.ttf and replaced with Calibri. but later i add Arial.ttf. Maybe thats why it worked. Or u think not?

noticed an issue recently that i believe is due to alaska. I have PsuedoTV as a custom home item. I can launch into it and exit fine, however when it exits it gets stuck on the icon and i can move. Also the label "PsudeoTV" is gone and it says "Fair" (basically like if you press down on the weather icon). i can press any direction, back, ok, esc, x, stop, everything but it stays stuck. Only way i could get it working again was by force closing xbmc. It has happened every time i have used this script and custom home item

It is the highlight bar used for the list menus. In Settings it is the gray bar you use. You are using multiple PNGs as markers/highlights (aka Button Focus) for your list style menus. You changed this in InfoList a while back to be the same as on the home screen... but there are other XMLs still using the other PNGs -- but they are all essentially the same exact things.

Hi, just did a fresh install, and now I cant install my dear alaska again, the addon is marked as broken. not sure if its related or not, but i cant find any video-addons in the official repository either. what could be wrong?

download from here (version 2.7.6 for dharma 10.1 if I remember correctly) and sftp into the box and place it in addon folder or just copy it in if you're on windows.
If you are using a nightly as of 18/4 or later, you can just grab newest version from here .

Hey hey, it's been a while.
I just got an SSD, and tried to load up one of the newest nightly builds, and received a "Dependencies Not Met" when trying to load up your repository... Is this what you're talking about (as above) and if so, is there a way around it? I've tried installing nightlies from tonight, May 7 and May 1.
Ideas? (Thanks!)

Has anybody got a copy of OSX April 19th nightly build They could share?
cheeky question to ask, been a long-time user of the Alaska skin and couldn't really bear to use anything else, but I'm trying to get the pseudotv script to run and keep Alaska happy but I tend to just copy one nightly build over another, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Amidst the themes the icons needed are already present, I just would love it to be organized in a grid like fashion as done in the settings menu on the home screen

looks like i found problem with Plot fadelabel in DialogFullScreenInfo, it doesn't like [cr]'s inside Plot info. When it contains one or more [cr]'s it creates multi-line fadelabel (at least i think
) and results are as on following pictures
Additionally scrolling is far from fluent.
Do you have idea how to force label/fadelabel to ignore [cr]'s and make whole Plot into single line?

Ok, so I installed the newest nightly XBMC, and had the existing skin of Alaska Revisited loaded fine... ...but now, when I go to my "Videos" link, it shows "Movies", but it's not letting me do anything when I press the "C" button. Instead of allowing me to configure the different subdirectories, as it used to, I get options like "Play" and "Add to Favourites". Something new I'm missing?
Where can I add my Movies, TV Shows and stuff?

When browsing Music by Artist in Panel Square, the biography use a lot less vertical height than when browsing by Album when music isn't playing.

It would be nice if Panel Square had a semi-transparent dark square behind the album review / artist biography to increase readability with certain fanart backgrounds.

After finishing watching a TV episode, the view isn't updated to take into account that the episodes watched status has changed. I'm using the Landscape view and Watched is set to Hidden.

I am using 2.7.6 on 10.1 (ubuntu minimal). I am having an issue with a custom playlist on the home screen. When I set it up as a custom icon pointing to the playlist, it fails and returns me to the generic videos window.
When I navigate to the playlist normally, it displays properly.
UPDATE: Lingering zip files from old nightly installation seemed to be overwriting the 2.7.6 installation. Went back to a copy of 2.7.6 and made my own mod to add in the home icons I needed.
