adriank99 Wrote:any chance that the showcase view can be set to fixed or wrap?
Hitcher Wrote:Why exactly?

I coded it not to show double entries when there's less items than will fill the screen.
adriank99 Wrote:I like to use the showcase view for seasons for tv shows. I would be nice if the season were in order thats all. Smile

any chance this could happen?

sorry for bump.

Tompie Wrote:Hitcher,

Noticed something unusual which I haven't seen mentioned in this thread before, I think... If you access one of the "last added albums" directly by pressing up at the music icon in the home screen and hit play afterwards, the fanart will not be present in the background. Is this a skin bug, a Dharma thing or ... euh, a feature ;o) ?

T.
It should show the CD cover not fanart.

Not possible.

Sorry, posted a bit quick, therefore not clear, I guess. I'm not talking about the icon itself, which is showing the CD cover, I'm talking about the visualisation screen once you've hit play (and tab).
If I enter via the music library and choose an album, hit play and tab:

But if I enter via the music icon in the home screen, hit play and tab:

Hope this is clearer ...

Probably because it's not launched from the library.

Maybe if Hitcher still has the old flags up on his old GIT account I could be persuaded to make a custom default Alaska theme that uses the old flags instead of the new ones, just maybe.

Personally I hate the old flags and like the new ones better.

You can find the old ones within BIG Alaska. Nod

Just check [RELEASE] Alaska

- WheresWaldo - 2011-03-11 16:39

OK, so I downloaded Alaska, Alaska Big Mod and both of them have the same issue. Some of the flags are stacked in order to get the correct look. For example there is a stacking of Channels and Audio Codec, there is a stacking of Resolution and Aspect Ratio, others are comprised of a separate frame then the flag combined, just a few examples. It is not as simple as everyone (especially myself) would want it to be. So I will likely not create an AR theme that has the old flags.

Now if someone else where to create discrete flags that have the look of the old Alaska flags then I would be willing to guide them through the process of how to create the proper textures.xbt so that they could use them and share with the rest of the class.

<-- Please --> Can someone else look at the codec information ('O' key on keyboard) screen and see if they have chopped off information in the second line. A smaller font size would surely help here!

- Hitcher - 2011-03-11 16:54

Smaller font for that is in the next release.
